  1. Round 1- WR Mike Williams- Clemson Not a fan of a #2 WR @ 10 but I don't envision CB Marshon Lattimore falling to us here so we go BPA at a position of need which is WR. Round 2- CB Adoree Jackson- USC The guy does it all and our HC is preaching versatility like it's gospel, some say Jackson won't get past NE but I think he falls out of the 1st round do to his size and the talent in the secondary. Round 3- FS Justin Evans- Texas A&M As stated before he's my favorite S in this class of talented players so he will have mixed predictions what round he'll be drafted in but the most I've seen him drafted in is the 3rd round so I think we'd have a real shot at him here in round 3. Round 5- RT Conor McDermott- UCLA Eventually if we keep drafting a late round OT we will get a competent one right? McDermott will come in and compete, after all he is a McDermott...The new Williams? Round 5- LB Elijah Lee- Kansas State Need some LB depth, this isn't a great group of LB but I like Lee here. Round 6- CB Marquez White- Florida State Still need depth at CB even with Darby, Jackson,Seymour etc., it might be a stretch that he lasts until round 6 but this is a very deep group of corners for once.
  2. My thoughts are that it will never happen, he would be the highest paid RT in history by a good margin, the RT position just needs adequate play, we don't even need a player to be elite just competent, it's sad that we can't even find that on the right side.
  3. David Njoku the Miami TE I feel is going to be a special player, I don't think it'll happen right away as he'll need to adjust his game but I think once he does he's going to be one of the best.
  4. Josh Malone, Tennessee ran a 4.40- 40 time at the combine, 6'3" 210 lbs. , I don't like him as a main WR at this point but as a #2 he could be as productive as Woods imo.
  5. I don't think it's "spinning our wheels", the Bills offered him what they felt he was worth and both sides moved on, my only gripe is that there never seemed to be a plan in place, we never signed a FT veteran free agent CB. To think a rookie will come in and play like Gilmore is foolish and Seymour did show flashes but no way is ready to be the #2 CB yet imo. Buffalo should have had a clear vision if Gilmore walked and I can't believe they think a rookie is the best option but maybe I'm wrong.... We'll see how it goes.
  6. If we do select CB, I hope it's a trade down as the only 2 worthy of a top 10 imo are Lattimore/Sidney Jones and with the injury to Jones they should consider a move down in this case, I have a feeling they're in love with Peppers which would make me ill.
  7. Want- DE Myles Garrett Don't Want- S Jabrill Peppers (I see an athlete posing as a football player imo) Surpise- QB DeShaun Watson Think- I think we select a CB, looks like that what were setting up for imo ... Lattimore obviously #1, the Jones injury is huge (I thought we'd take him there without a doubt), Conley, Tankersly.
  8. If were talking versatile CB I think it has to start with Adoree Jackson from USC right? He won the Paul Hornung award for the nations most versatile player, I think he's played every position on that team.... WR (39 rec, 628 YDS, 6 TD- career since 2014), RB (15 carries, 92 YDS, 6.1 YPC AVG- career), PR/KR (79 KR, 2141 YDS, 27.1 AVG, 4 TD) (46 PR, 578 YDS, 12.6 AVG, 4 TD) and then you get to the defensive side , he had 55 total tackles, 2 TFL, 5 INT this season on defense. If still around in round 2 he would be the exact player that McDermott is talking about, he ran a 4.42 - 40 at the combine, great football AWR and has been said that he loves the game, can't really get more versatile than this guy if you ask me.
  9. Justin Evans from Texas A&M is my favorite S in this draft... He was a WR, Pitcher (Baseball) in HS, he has played some slot corner also at A&M, he's an athletic heat seeking missle, I think with his versatility he could be the perfect fit for this defense http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/justin-evans?id=2557945
  10. You say CB is deep but the same goes for TE and where are you seeing on any draft board that O.J. Howard is graded higher than Marshon Lattimore, or at the time before injury Sidney Jones?
  11. It's hard to take this serious since you value a TE more than a CB, I'm a fan of O.J. Howard but we just put up the lowest passing totals in the league, we just brought back the same QB who made those totals happen, to add to that Charles Clay who is no slouch at TE was severely under utilized considering almost all over our WR core was injured and he was still only able to muster 57 rec, 552 yards and 4 TD (A 9.7 YPC AVG). There are a variety of CB's that can help the Bills right away since I think were in big trouble with just Darby/Seymour, Cordrea Tankersly is shooting up draft boards according to a bunch of sites/draftniks etc. because of his size, ability to blanket wideouts. Marshon Lattimore may not even make it to us now that Jones is injured. S also doesn't make much sense after we picked up Hyde/Poyer who are both said to be versatile players just my opinions.
  12. Not many are talking about him but Josh Malone of Tennessee flashed games where he just looked uncoverable, I'm not a fan of the Vols QB Josh Dobbs, I think Malone and others bailed him out a lot making spectacular catches and big plays. Not sure which round hes projected to go in but he's a 6'3" matchup nightmare who just ran 4.40 40-time at the combine also.
  13. I don't think this is more than a 6-7 win team but I feel highly right now about the HC, once he starts putting more of a stamp on the players he brings in then I think we can be a playoff and beyond team but as of now it's the same team with a few lesser players than we had before imo.
  14. 1. Cleveland Browns- DE Myles Garrett 2. San Francisco 49ers- S Jamal Adams 3. Chicago Bears- DE Jonathan Allen 4. Jacksonville Jaguars- RB Leonard Fournette 5. Tennessee Titans- WR Corey Davis 6. New York Jets- WR Mike Williams 7. Los Angeles Chargers- S Malik Hooker 8. Carolina Panthers- RB Dalvin Cook 9. Cincinnati Bengals- DE Solomon Thomas 10. Buffalo Bills- CB Cordrea Tankersley- Clemson
  15. I'm going with TE Logan Thomas also, he doesn't have to make a hard transition since he already played at a high level at TE, which is why he was recruited so high at the position. Ithink he can resurrect his career by making the switch, another reason I don't see them taking O.J. Howard.
  16. Solid depth signing, I still expect a 2nd round WR- Zay Jones, Chris Godwin etc.
  17. I know Hyde moved around a bit for the Packers but he was mostly a SS until being moved to CB because of injuries there, at least I'm pretty sure. I agree with you on Brown though.
  18. This is just dumb, he was a 1st ballot HOFer they don't just let above average QB's in.
  19. I think it will take another season with the draft and FA to start putting a stamp on this McDermott roster. I think we'd be blind if we said we got better on defense after losing our best CB in Gilmore, I like the Micah Hyde signing a lot and think he will admirably fill the Aaron Williams loss. The other FS position looks like it will be filled by either a rookie or an average player. This defense was a horrible tackling team and it's essentially the same team without Zach Brown/Gilmore so I'm not sure what to think of that, did we forget how to tackle because Rex Ryan was HC? Hopefully guys will be held more accountable if they miss on tackles/late to meetings etc. On offense again it's essentially the same team minus our #2 WR Woods and we got even more concerns at WR imo than last season, I mean if Watkins gets hurt this team is in deep trouble and that's with any rookie we sign included since it's one of the more harder positions to grasp right away. Were gearing up for a monster running season, 2 fullbacks, Gillislee back, Jonathan Williams. Were setting ourselves up in the draft for either a WR or CB imo, I'm fine with either but if we do go WR I'd like to open up the pass game more, let Tyrod be bad or good but don't hold back any longer. I think we'll be in the same mix as last year... 6-10-, 7-9 or 8-8 imo
  20. I don't know whats more shocking, to learn we signed a WR then to find out it didn't go through or to find out WR Andre Holmes has more than 1 suitor other than Buffalo.
  21. William "the refrigerator" Perry played RB once, he was well over 300 lbs does that count?
  22. I find it hard to believe we will spend another 1st rounder on a WR when were bottom of the league in passing and just signed 2 FB gearing up for another run heavy season. I see WR 2 value with Zay Jones/Chris Godwin in the 2nd. It takes a WR a big learning curve from College to the NFL and this team needs defensive help bad especially at CB/LB and probably a FS imo.
  23. Sorry I disagree OP, with the game on the line there is no QB I'd rather have leading me down the field than Tom Brady... None! I've been watching football from about 1984 on and I've seen many era's and I feel Brady would have dominated in them all, just my opinion. He's plenty tough, sure they don't allow the QB to get his head ripped off but he takes shots all the time.
  24. I'd keep Groy over Wood at this point, way too many injuries for Wood.
