  1. You bring guys like this into a solid locker room, I doubt McDermott goes after him.
  2. I'm not a Tyrod Taylor fan at all but at his price range it isn't bad.
  3. I know many , many players, names form all different teams but I've never heard of this guy, probably a special teamer?
  4. Because that is how you get your QB dead? You don't take your best blindside protector and kick him out for an inferior player, it makes zero sense and if you think Kouandjio is in the same league as Glenn then please pass what Dareus is smoking around to all of us, oh and then you will have the highest paid RT in history also, it won't happen anyhow.
  5. This was a great pickup, he is Aaron Williams+, I have followed Hyde since his college days at Iowa, was hoping Buffalo drafted him in 2013 I believe? I wanted him as a CB (Which he was at Iowa), he was slower than you'd like your CB to be (Much like Williams) and was switched to S (Like Williams) and has been a solid DB ever since, I like his tackling, he isn't a complete ball hawk but he does have 8 INT for his career. He will replace Williams nicely, I didn't even mention his name because I didn't think we could afford him but he and Jordan Poyer were solid additions imo.
  6. I like Jones also, would be a great fit.
  7. I would say draft a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round, much cheaper option.
  8. That is proven to be untrue... We have made big splashes over the years, I think it has to do more with the QB position.... Only taking a QB twice in the 1st round over a 17 year period is the big killer and horrible drafting.
  9. Glenn will never be moved to RT for any reasoning, why even talk about something that will never happen?
  10. The sad tthing is the RT position doesn't even need dominant play, you just need an adequate reliable guy there, Whaley has drafted both Kouandjio/Henderson who both weren't good on the right side and Mills was awful as well, how can you not even find an adequate blocker at RT after numerous tries? There is no way we should spend over 5M on the RT position but that's just my opinion.
  11. I think this is a bit of an overreaction. Looks to me like they're going to build the secondary through the draft, hopefully we can land a LB, RT and WR through FA, I'm not expecting huge names but decent players who fit what McDermott's vision are. Gilmore is going to hurt the most for sure and I'm curious to see who we bring in at LB, AJ Klein almost seemed like a lock but it looks like we'll have to look elsewhere.
  12. I hear you.... The only good thing we can hope for is that We get a younger, better version at CB like Lattimore or Sidney Jones, those 2 look like stud corners at it would be weird isn't #10 overall the pick Gilmore was drafted at? Fitting!!! I'm not so concerned about S, the Panther defense I don't believe had any big named stars at the position, I may be wrong. I'd like to see a veteran corner signed and a RT, Witworth would be an excellent pickup, he's older but we could use some more leadership here.
  13. Our entire draft might be the secondary this year.
  14. How about a guy like Marcus Wheaton or Terrance Williams? Neither should break the bank and both were productive #2 WR, well Wheaton was a 2nd and 3rd WR but still has some decent numbers.
  15. Malcolm Butler and Stephon Gilmore, unreal freaking real how a team continues to win SB rings and still gets a talent like Gilmore who wont even be the #1 in NE.
  16. They don't need to draft one at 10 but in the first 2 rounds to show serious commitment, they haven't in the past so that is why I bring it up, we already have our developmental QB in Jones so drafting a QB to me in rounds 4-7 make no sense, that is where you draft a developmental QB which we already have. I prefer Watson or Trubisky but if they like someone else I'll get behind that pick, I just want them to start drafting that position like it's the most important, only going after 2 QB's in the 1st round in our 17 year playoff drought is nuts to me. They don't even need to take a QB this year but I still want to see what Whaley's version of a franchise QB is which will be HIS pick.
  17. 17 year playoff drought, it's hard to argue that we have had bad owners for quite some time. I'm not sure about the Pegula's yet, they seem to want to win, not sure why they haven't hired a football figure head though like Coughlin to guide them, makes me think they meddle.
  18. Were almost guaranteed to take a defensive player at 10, CB most likely.... Looks like were losing Brown, Alexander and Gilmore. My guess is that we take Washington CB Sidney Jones at 10 if we don't trade down.
  19. I'm not a fan of Tyrod Taylor (Those on the old BBMB know this), he's now a Buffalo Bill for at least 2 years so I will not bash him, I wish him the best here and hope he brings us back to glory. My only fear is that Whaley doesn't try and draft a QB because of this move, other than that I want Taylor to get us to the playoffs now.... GO BILLS! BTW that contract is much, much more reasonable.
  20. Maybe I'm wrong but don't we have even less players under contract next year? Which again will eat up a bunch of cap, I thought I read this somewhere.
  21. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000791016/article/ravens-ricky-wagner-set-to-blow-the-lid-off-rt-market Spending money like this is foolish imo, it hasn't happened yet so I might be blowing it out of proportion, I've been known to do that once in awhile but if this happens it will be another bad decision, just my opinion.
  22. He spends a 2nd on Koundjio and lower end picks (7th on Henderson), he can't even shore up the easier side of the OL which is RT and some of you think it's a good move spending Cordy Glenn type of money on the non blind side? It has nothing to do with optimism, I'm not a fan of Whaley and think were a sinking ship with him, I try to be positive with him but he looks like the next Donahue or worse, sorry if others don't see it. Were headed for major cap implications down the road because he's so terrible at drafting. I still love the Bills I just hate the GM
