  1. Kurt Warner commented on this and stated that it had to do with Josh needing to learn how to become more of a passer instead of just a thrower- similar to a pitcher in baseball learning to become more of a pitcher.
  2. I think this sums it up nicely...Allen will miss on some throws, Daboll will have poor sequences of play calling...but ultimately, McD sets the tone for the offense, which causes Daboll to call conservative plays, and causes Allen to play timid, while limiting his chances to make plays... McD’s mindset is NEVER to win a game by multiple scores...once he gets the smallest of leads (no matter how early in the game), McD just shuts everything down...it’s such a loser mentality that, no doubt, will come back to bite him in the ass... Think back to the Steelers game...remember how relieved McD was that he was actually able to pull out the victory after we dominated them...it NEVER should have been that close but coach kept giving them chances to come back at the end of the game...instead of putting them away and trying to end the game with the ball, McD never seriously tried picking up a first down for several drives at the end of the 4th quarter...it’s infuriating and pathetic at the same time.
  3. I know I am...yawn...is it passed my bed time yet?
  4. Lol if only it were that simple for the Bills offense ?
  5. This is true...once we get a one score lead, McD almost tries to get to the end of the game as quickly as possible by running the ball even if we have more than a quarter to play...so many frustrating times where I wanted the Bills to attempt to pick up the first down so they could end the game with the ball...but McD always seems to love giving the other teams another opportunity to score as long as it takes away their TO...truly is maddening and it’s a “play not to lose” mentality that probably trickles down into Allen being afraid to make a mistake. As long McD is HC he will never rely on the offense to win the game...he might even hold them back from reaching their fullest potential.
  6. Meh...I see what you are saying, but on its face it seems like kind of a reach... I think most people don’t think of a defense as having to score points to carry a team... For example, the offense is ranked in the bottom third of the league in scoring points- meaning this offense has done very little in justifying the bills being a playoff team...and furthermore, if the defense was ranked as low as the offense, the Bills would NOT be in the playoffs... It is the very fact that the defense is able to contain most the league’s offenses, by being a top 5 unit, that it allows our mediocre offense to not have to produce much to still win the game. So if the offense was top 10, then you could argue that both sides of the ball are equally matched and pulling their own weight..but the discrepancy between the two means that the defense carried the offense this season imo- which is fine...the offense will likely improve next year and hopefully contribute to the point where the defense doesn’t have to be relied upon so much every game.
  7. How about all of the above?
  8. Pats player moves our ball back..refs move their balls forward...seems like a match made in heaven...
  9. They do it because they know they are going to get away with it. The refs are complicit in there cheating ways. They see it but they just ignore it
  10. Come on, what? Are teams not allowed to game plan differently for different teams? Also, it wasn’t like the Pats defense was so smothering that WRs weren’t open...guys were open but Josh just wasn’t hitting them consistently enough when the opportunity arose...and I’m sure, knowing his character, he would tell you the same...
  11. And guys, just for the record, it’s ok to criticize players for playing poorly... you don’t have to be scared of someone taking your fan card away lol You can still root for Josh and criticize him at the same time...it’s not a “dis or dat”. ? i feel like there are some fans that feel they just have to toe the line of always praising Allen, and ridiculing those who just want better from their QBS, and point out where he needs to improve.
  12. Stevie Johnson has career years with Fitz...
  13. Mahomes, Watson, and Jackson would have made those throws- that’s what “it” factor looks like to me...now, Allen May someday get to that level, but he is not there yet...
  14. Again...he was 13 for 26...that’s not “it” factor...if it is, we are in trouble...
  15. Sure...because there is no guarantee he will get better...as long as he is not at least a top 15 QB, there should definitely be concern...after all he was the #7 overall pick... The “it” factor would have made those td passes to Knox...
  16. Yup... people give him a pass because it’s his second year- and rightfully so...but make no mistake about it, if he continues to miss open receivers like this next year, you will start to see a lot more bills fans coming out with pitch forks and torches...
  17. I think he’s improving... the problem is he was so raw coming in that the improvement feels like it’s moving at a snails pace...
  18. It was laughable when McD tried to start running out the clock at the BEGINNING of the 4th quarter only up 4 points- no killer instinct...makes me wonder if that whole “play fearless “ mantra was more for him than the team.
