Unfortunately 2026 draft is a year with no elite WRs… Thats why Beane’s biggest miscalculation was not trading the pick for Waddle…Waddle IS elite, and Beane is basically gambling that he will be able to find equivalent talent with that first round pick…Unfortunately, history shows us that the odds are not in his favor. All you have to do is look at the Rams and Eagles - 2 recent superbowl winners- to know that trading away draft assets for established players has proven fruitful for those 2 organizations… It appears he did not have the foresight to understand this, and appears as though that could end up being a major decision that continues to set the franchise back… Lack of foresight is not a good quality to have if you are GM…

Bills need to offer 2 first round picks for this guy…enough nickel and diming the WR room… Then I would draft another in the middle rounds…
