None of what was said matters at this point. I dont expect nor want public game plan honesty plus adjustments get made during the game so how things start out dont mean everything either.

I think it is coincidence. Largely good luck. Could be looked at as the reason why we won so many games if it werent for our own kicker being in the bottom 10. We jhave won and loss games due to kicking this year. None of it matters now though. Boils down to how kick/they kick in the postseason. I really feel us putting in a waiver claim for Chase McLaughlin lit the fire under Hauschka that was needed. Seems back to his old self.

Gotta consider the elements in New Era field as a factor. I dont think pressure on a kicker would effect anything. I believe kickers ignore pressure and the kick is blocked or not. Kickers arent looking at oncoming rushers like a punter may.

Smoke vs Hopkins stats this year
StHustle replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Almost 50% more receptions is significantly more productive. It means more first downs and longer sustained drives. Keeping your defense off the field and the ball out of the hands of the opposing team. I was expecting Beas to be our 100 reception guy. Didnt work out that way. I still wanna see one more year with Beas before making my final assessment but with those drops I wouldnt be upset if he is replaced. Yeah but back you your point, Hopkins is an ELITE WR while Brown is simply very good. I lOVE Brown, dont get me wrong but he is nowhere near the talent level of Hopkins. Could you argue that with Watson, Brown's numbers would be much better? Yes, and you would likely be right. But the eye test means more to me than stats. -
Great point. We should help our own first before doing what seems to be attention grabbing donations out of state (not saying they are designed to be attention grabbers but at the end of the day it is and could be translated to LAMP) With that said, CashApp is the best as there are no fees. They guy will receive 100% of what you send him! I'll send him $5...not much but imagine if we all sent $5.

Should we allow assistant coaches call the game.
StHustle replied to BBills88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be good experience for the assistants in case the starting coaches get hurt -

Buffalo Bills History Question

Very interesting. Do you have a clearer image in which the paper can be read? Looks like 1.0 Megapixels was the thing "several summers ago." -
Edelman admits faking head injury in Bills game
StHustle replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can you explain how faking a head injury is cheating? To me it makes absolutely no sense to fake a head injury on a play you had zero chance of drawing a flag in your favor. Not only that but did he fake it in the tent and cause himself to be sent to the locker room for further evaluation? Again, makes ZERO sense. So with zero motive to fake a head injury we have to consider if he has motive to lie and say he was faking it. Yes he does. To cover up the fact that he was sent back in the game with a real head injury. Nothing else makes sense. -
Not sure how you can say that. As of right now, only 5 or 6 of those games are against playoff teams. That just 1-2 more than this year (assuming Eagles end up a playoff team). With Patriots about to fall off the cliff, that could easily drop to only 3-4 games against playoff teams from this year. I wouldn't classify that as tough. Even assuming 2-3 of the other teams become playoff caliber, we are still looking at around 10 games against non playoff caliber teams.

Likely first round opponent?
StHustle replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm salivating to play NE in the playoffs. I believe that would be the final chance we EVER get to beat Brady in a meaningful game. Booting him out the playoffs for the final time would feel fantastic. -
Likely first round opponent?

If Chiefs win next week, we play the Texans. If Chiefs lose AND Texans lose, we play the Texans. If Chiefs lose AND Texans win, we play the Chiefs. Those are the only 3 possible scenarios and the only 3 possible outcomes. LETS GO CHIEFS!! -
3 Penalties - 30 yds for the Pats (How??)
StHustle replied to CaliBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also not cool for the ref to be standing on the right spot then mysteriously decide to spot the ball a yard ahead. -
But how do you come to that conclusion? Because he isnt active or becasue you watched his tape? How do you explain this: Season totals for the following players: Foster: 3 rec, 0 TD Roberts: 3 rec, 0 TD Lee Smith: 4 rec, 0 TD Nobody can make any intelligent argument that any 3 of these guys has made game changing plays. Roberts simply hasnt done enough on returns to justify his spot. His couple big returns is quite average for a season and he way too often doesnt even make it to the 25 when coming out of the endzone. Meanwhile... Duke: (In his only 3 games played) 6 rec on 7 targets and a GAME WIINNING TD.

Pretty sure we want KC to win out
StHustle replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's all just take a second to enjoy the simple fact we can even have such a discussion 2 weeks before the end of the regular season! This has to be uncharted territory for almost all of us as far as in a message board setting. I mean, did TBD or any other board like this even exist in '99? I was in high school still using AOL dial up internet IIRC! -
Interesting point. Right now we have a very sub par offense that outputs bottom 10 productivity. Meanwhile, although the Cowboys suck, they are #1 in productivity with a much simpler offense. Not saying Doughball needs to simplify the actual offense but if the verbiage is a major challenge and costing us production then that needs to change,,,and fast!
