The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Buffalo_Gal replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Heck, right before phase 1 opened in Erie County (we are in phase 2) I was thinking about getting tested so more covid-19 negative tests would get us open. There were tons of open appointments, even that day. The two places closest to me had zero cars anytime I drove by them, etc. If you want a test, you can get a test, and it has been that way for over a month. -
Will GregPersons Continue to Beat His Wife?

Well, now he has a thread dedicated to his antics. I certain he is one happy troll. -
Probably posted somewhere, but with all the superfluous new threads the last few days, it is hard to keep up... Manufacturer that burned as Minneapolis protests turned violent plans to relocate from city 'They didn't protect our people,' 7-Sigma owner says of city officials. A Minneapolis manufacturing company has decided to leave the city, with the company’s owner saying he can’t trust public officials who allowed his plant to burn during the recent riots. The move will cost the city about 50 jobs. “They don’t care about my business,” said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.” Wyrobek said the plant, which usually operates until 11 p.m., shut down about four hours early on the first night of the riots because he wanted to keep his workers out of harm’s way. He said a production supervisor and a maintenance worker who live in the neighborhood became alarmed when fire broke out at the $30 million Midtown Corner affordable housing apartment complex that was under construction next door. “The fire engine was just sitting there,” Wyrobek said, “but they wouldn’t do anything.” </snip>

While I agree with that, at this point I wonder how many parents have critical thinking skills to be able to pass that ability on down... -
What have the Democrats done in the past Four years
Buffalo_Gal replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He's up for reelection this November. He squeaked in last time time 2,309,157 (D) vs 2,298,880 (R) votes. I know nothing about his challenger, Dan Forest except that he is the current NC Lt Governor (those meeting must be er, interesting). The current AG, Josh Stein who won 2016 in a close one 2,276,410 (D) vs 2,256,178 (R) is also a D, and up for reelection. His opponent is Jim O'Neill, a current DA. I have no idea how NC tilts these days, if the residents of NC think these gentlemen have done a good job, acted fairly, etc during the lock downs and rioting. But, voters will have an opportunity to express their displeasure or agreement in just a few short months. I hope the Rs are doing a get-out-the-vote, because this looks like one that may be ripe for a flip. We shall see. -

I have pondered whether or not the school lock downs from March on will have helped or hurt the SLW cause. Will more parents home school after seeing what their children are being taught? -
I have been SHOCKED that they were not passed out as a dress code when this crap started, or added on as it has continued. I guess there are some things Antifa will not do for money. Burning, rioting and looting? Sure. Wear a Trump hat as a false flag? A bridge too far.

I'm not sure about that either, however, President Trump is close to that age and may have thought that, based on the OANN reporting (that is who he referenced) and what he saw on video, that he (Trump) would not have fallen with that type of push, so the guy took a dive? Now, that guy probably weighed 50# less than Trump, so even though Trump may have thought the push wouldn't make him (Trump) fall backwards like that, maybe it was enough for a guy that was lighter? And that guy did stumble which may have also contributed to the fall. But, as they dig further into that Buffalo "protester" he does seem to like to agitate. And if he did have some sort of jammer...

heh I think it is hilarious how he attached Hillary's attempt at dodging testifying to a tweet that will be RTed a ton. The media has not been reporting on Hillary being compelled to testify, and appealing that decision. This Politico article does address it.
