  1. Up to 210 miles of the wall is completed. (Trump at presser just now) And, he mentioned the 9 court cases the administration had to go through to build the new wall. 500 miles by next year. I posted this in a different thread last month. Better here:
  2. Trump just said he will be signing the changes.
  3. Trump said the US is "over 20M tests."
  4. LOL Trump just said, "The Green New Deal is like baby talk." He's pointing out how ridiculous a proposal it is.
  5. Trump again offering the national guard to NY and NJ. His word choice will have the lefties screaming!
  6. Trump saying vaccine is going well. 200M ready to go if it checks out for safety. More happening on the therapeutics. He's saying he has no idea why the lock down governors are still on lock down.
  7. I agree he should never play football again. Still, an amazing recovery story. I am glad your surgeries went well for you, and that you had an excellent surgeon.
  8. Did you see how he came back!? I saw a video his wife posted a few months ago and wow, what an amazing recovery! I hope you came back just as well.
  9. People are claiming the police lied/covered up what happened in the police report. I would have used the word stumbled, the police used the word tripped. I hope your leg heeled well.
  10. Yeah, the fact that the man was older and head wounds bleed a lot really made for a horrible, short video. The second video added much more to the story. I would guess the news crews got even more of the encounter.
  11. Yeah, but the first video looks worse. We'll go with that! Honestly? The cop who started to bend down to help being pulled away by the second cop is a terrible look. Simply awful. It takes watching the second video to see the camo guys immediately assisting.
  12. I took issue with the word tripped in the police report. The man stumbled backward. However, according to the thesaurus the words "trip" and "stumble" are synonymous.
  13. Well, they retracted today, sooooo... Retraction—Hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine with or without a macrolide for treatment of COVID-19: a multinational registry analysis
  14. Oh come on! He had on a mask while outside. Everyone knows masks protect you from the Wuhan virus.
  15. Yeah, I cannot understand why that man thought it would be a good idea to approach a line of riot police, and then disobey the order of a police office several times (get back).
  16. #OrangeManBad The riots have been dying down in the news but expect more info today as the jobs numbers came out, and they were so much better than expected it isn't even funny. Can't have that V recovery leading to a reelection.
  17. 13.3% vs the expected 20% is a huge difference. Jobs GAIN of 2.5M versus any loss! Jobs report
  18. This is a terrible thread with a lot of rioter-victim information:
  19. UCLA Students Demand Dismissal of Professors Who Refuse to Cancel Final Exams Over Floyd Death Anderson School of Management professor Gordon Klein was doxxed by students after he refused to allow minority students to abstain from taking final exams. A student in Klein's Management 127 class, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of retribution, requested accommodations for minority students during "these trying times." In the exchange, Klein questioned the appropriateness of using race to determine how students should be treated. "Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota," Klein wrote in his response email. "Do you know the names of the classmates that are black? How can I identify them since we've been having online classes only? Are there any students that may be of mixed parentage, such as half black-half Asian? What do you suggest I do with respect to them? A full concession or just half?" </snip> "We ask for your support in having Professor Klein's professorship terminated for his extremely insensitive, dismissive, and woefully racist response to his students' request for empathy and compassion during a time of civil unrest," the petition reads. More than 18,000 people had signed the petition as of Thursday afternoon. </snip>
  20. Staffers lash out in Bernie world meltdown Long simmering tensions within the Sanders campaign have gone public. The feud between different factions of Sanders' team made public tensions that had been simmering since the primaries. Bernie world is tearing itself apart. As election results across the country rolled in on Tuesday evening, current and former aides to Bernie Sanders abruptly laced into each other on social media, trading accusations of being “tone-deaf,” not giving “a ***** about the base,” and even stealing infrastructure from the 2020 campaign. </snip>
  21. Summer school can happen in Illinois (limited in-person instruction). </snip> In accordance with Phase Three of the state's reopening plan and public health guidance, the number of individuals in one space will be limited to ten or fewer. Additionally, schools will be required to ensure compliance to social distancing guidelines "to the greatest extent possible." </snip>
  22. It is the second video where you can see the man approach the line, and then when he is down the two national guard people at the end attend to him immediately. Do you know if the body cameras have sound?
  23. In the video I posted, the national guard guys immediately attended to him. They were at the back of the pack.
