  1. I am certain they will comply...
  2. Another take... (odd number of tweets) I found this distressing:
  3. I guess I have been very fortunate to have worked with some top-notch legal talent. I have always been amazed at the smarts those men and women have exhibited. Now, granted, none of it has been criminal law, but nevertheless, some truly smart people.
  4. Why do I get the idea SectionC3 is a receptionist at a law office and thinks he knows more than he actually does?
  5. I would not know what he requests without your quoting him as I have him on ignore. If he'd like those tweets in a third thread, I can accommodate him. ?
  6. Apologies if this was posted:
  7. Yes, and no. We have seen the rioting and looting part (for the last 10 years) and right now the reactionary political lawmaking. Whether or not it advances forward from here will depend on November. Voting out those who are bowing down to the rioters and looters will help stem the tide. Voting in more like those who are welcoming them with open arms (Seattle, NYC, LA, etc) will accelerate the speed.
  8. Well that's ok since protesters, rioters, and looters were somehow magically protected by their righteous indignation. ?‍♂️
  9. It has not been very fast, it has been slowly happening for 50+ years. Inch by inch, drip by drip.
  10. Now this is something you do not see everyday... Hannity getting talked over.
  11. That is crazy. Someone posted in that twitter thread, I'm actually surprised Perkins Coie didn't show up and considering what has gone on, I'm kinda surprised, too. But yeah, this is all on the up-and-up.
  12. The pretzel logic is certainly insane.
  13. I know, but I still like to afford him the opportunity to back up his claims.
  14. This is an interesting take - since it is a long thread, this is the unrolled version.
  15. I thought he was very good. Honestly, except for one guy, the hearings this morning (I turned it off after Bongino) were fairly reasonable. Some of it was feelings, which is to be expected considering who was invited (and it was sad), some of it was data from past defundings, some was ideas for going forward. Of course there were a few moments, but for the most part people appeared to want a solution to the bad apples, and to find a way weed out said bad apples. The devil is in the details. Some of what was said about the bill (which will pass) will make policing difficult to impossible. It will not attract the best and brightest, and will harm the very communities the people testifying are trying to help.
  16. Could you specifically state why President Trump has been an "utterly horrible President"? Facts, not feelz, please.
  17. I keep looking for a source and everything is a week old. That tweet was two days ago. Some of what I read said they will not release it to not pre-predjuice a jury, which makes sense... except that this has already been tried in the court of public opinion. And yes, I agree Chauvin is scum, well, in my opinion he is scum. Others might call him worse. They would not be wrong.
