Bills fans hopes of a Jaguars upset.

Yet we finished 3rd last year and 2nd this year in points per game. We finished 5th in yards last year and 2nd this year. Yards per carry were 4.8 yards last year (6th) and 5.2 yards this year (2nd). We finished with 2209 rushing last year in one more game than the 2232 yards rushing this year. Third down % is better (52% to 46%) and fourth down % is better (53.8% to 50%), red zone td percentage is only slightly worse (60.3% to 62.4%), and the percentage of drives that ended in points is nearly identical (45.2% to 45%). If I'm a GM out there and I look at these numbers I think Dorsey was able to maintain and even improve in some areas the Bills offense from 2021 even after Daboll left for the Giants. The latter is now in the running for coach of the year and is gaining the reputation of an offensive genius. Why shouldn't Dorsey be a head coaching candidate?

Josh is morphing as a QB…has stopped running recklessly
Doc Brown replied to Lenigmusx's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let me guess. He thought Highmark Stadium was still salvageable. -
Knowing the NFL it was pry a potato chip but I'm wrong. They've had one in the balls since 2017 but it's not accurate enough to determine field position yet. Interesting thread.

I thought we still had him. In all seriousness, Daboll could've signed Hodgins at any time when he was on our practice squad. Let's just let this one play out until we think Beane made a Wyatt Teller type mistake.

Allen led all QB's in PFF Offensive Grade at 91.8

The main difference is he threw six in the red zone this year so they're more memorable and back breaking. What's amazing is his first red zone pick of his career wasn't until November of 2021. A harsh regression to the mean. -
How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?
Doc Brown replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every game? Miami is the first one I can recall this season and he can't tell the darn future. He didn't like the look that he was in so he called a timeout. If they completed that long pass to Waddle we'd all be praising him. Plus, it's difficult to judge the outcome of a play when some of the players heard the whistle and didn't participate A wasted time out is at the end of the half when he took a timeout for what he thought was a Diggs touchdown even though the replay review has to come from upstairs. Although, he had to do that in the Colts playoff game a couple of seasons ago and I think that actually worked in our favor. Memory is fuzzy. -
A whopping 66 now. Allen threw for one more yard........on 27 less attempts yesterday.

Just dawned on me the 49ers get a two day rest advantage over the Cowboys. I'm fine with that.

Brady's going to be on a commercial next year trying to sell me life insurance.

Ball was slightly moving before he touched the ground. Bullcrap.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but if this call is overturned the league wants to keep it close.

Maher has as many missed extra points tonight than Bass does his entire career.

Sky Judge - when can they call down?

If we were born with one foot I'd agree with you. However, two feet should be in play for it to count. Plus, even if that was the rule you'd pry still have a similar amount of reviews if it was one foot. "OOOOOOOOHHHHH...the left foot may have hit a blade of grass their Jim." -
The 15 point swing that turned a blowout into a nailbiter
Doc Brown replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. Whatever. Allen should've thrown for 400 yards and 4 TD's if Knox and Shakir don't drop the ball. Would've been a comfortable win. Maybe all this criticism this week is a good thing going into the Divisional.- 54 replies
