  1. Not sure why you want my take as the only part of me that leans left with the Dems is their approach to health care and education. Especially the former. Both just happen to be the issues I care most about. I agree with the right when it comes to taxes, de-regulation, immigration, gun control (with some exceptions), more police, strong military, less government assistance to able bodied workers, and a lot of the culture issues (I despise CRT theory being part of any curriculum, transgenderism would be better treated as a mental illness, etc.). As far as Poyer goes (who I've always liked), I agree with almost everything he said in the article but I don't think it's a coincidence he chose a Trump (the most polarizing figure in America) owned golf course with over 1,200 other golf courses in Florida for his charity event. He seems like an intelligent person so he had to know that backlash was coming. He could've gotten his message across and still raised money for charity at another golf course. To answer the poll question, I refuse to let family or friends political views get in the way of our relationships no matter how wrong they are.
  2. Nobody gives a damn.
  3. It makes it more likely imo as it will pry clear up around four million in cap space. They could've saved six million by cutting him but they may want both Hopkins and Parker. Bourne is an obvious cut candidate (frees up 5.4m) if they do sign Hopkins.
  4. He's not an idiot. He knew that being the only Bills player to miss the first practice of mandatory mini camp would send a message to the outside world that there was a rift he had with the team.
  5. Agreed, but they didn't become rich by gambling.
  6. There's always been this underlying feeling of unease with Diggs (at least by me) because of how he strategically forced his way out of Minnesota. Now it's just going to be amplified. If it forces Allen and Dorsey to make a concerted effort to force the ball to Diggs I'm cool with that. I just wish he handled his discontent in house like every other Bills player who may have had a problem.
  7. That seems a little harsh but maybe one year for non NFL games and three seasons for any NFL game. The NFLPA has given Goodell free reign on the gambling policy so if I were him I'd ban gambling on anything while employed by the NFL (player, coach, administrators, water boys, etc.). That would clear up any confusion. Like I said, one season for non NFL gambling and three seasons for NFL gambling.
  8. It would as the contract would be pushed pack a season. It would create about 24 to 25 million in cap space. Of course that would be less than ideal given their age and the cap hit we'd take the next couple of seasons.
  9. FanDuel has 10 to 1 odds it will be any one of those five.
  10. Yeah. That's like telling Ed Oliver you have to be Aaron Donald. I'll take a Zach Ertz or a Greg Olsen though. I think that's not an unreasonable expectation.
  11. Five of us went to the EA location last night and they've perfected the chicken wing. About an hour and 15 minute wait though. They need to expand somehow. The Sicilian and cajun honey bbq wings are proof that god exists.
  12. I have them both in the six to ten range which should be good enough to win a Super Bowl with an elite QB. I think Beane is a little overrated on these boards while McDermott is a little underrated.
  13. I won't watch it but I'm guessing his buddy Payton and Wilson were ahead of us.
  14. He has the #1 offense last year ranked 19th and the #2 offense last year ranked 20th. He must really put stock in the quarterbacks.
  15. I wouldn't care either way and Biden is far from my guy. I'd vote for a ham sandwich over Trump or Biden at this point. We deserve better.
  16. Not good. 20. Buffalo Bills 2022 rank: 10 | 2021 rank: 9 This is a major downgrade for the Bills, who didn't get a breakout season from any of their young playmakers last season. Gabe Davis, who was coming off a four-touchdown game against the Chiefs in the playoffs, was able to catch only 51.6% of his passes and garner targets on 17.7% of his routes. His style is always going to trade middling efficiency for big plays, but he didn't hit home runs frequently enough in 2022. He has to be something more than Buffalo's version of Marquise Valdes-Scantling in a contract year. Dawson Knox also failed to build on his impressive step forward in 2021, as his touchdown rate regressed back to earth. A Buffalo front office that was reportedly trying to add a tight end to supplement Knox before that season finally got its man this offseason, using a first-round pick on Dalton Kincaid. I'm excited about Kincaid's long-term potential, but rookie tight ends almost always fail to live up to lofty expectations. Neither Devin Singletary nor James Cook won the starting job at running back, while a midseason trade for Nyheim Hines delivered a total of 50 yards from scrimmage in nine games. General manager Brandon Beane wisely swapped out Singletary for power back Damien Harris this offseason, with the Bills hoping to pound light boxes as the Chiefs did with Isiah Pacheco last season. Harris struggled to stay healthy in New England, but the hope will undoubtedly be that he can contribute in a 150-carry role. So much of how this offense goes depends on quarterback Josh Allen and receiver Stefon Diggs, and the former isn't included in this debate. This is a tier of teams with one star wide receiver and questions around that player, and it's hard to argue that the teams ahead of Buffalo in these rankings don't have better options for possible breakouts on their 2023 rosters.
  17. I don't give a *****. Some people are born with silver spoon in hand and that's the way it's always been. I'm genuinely curious if a sitting president can pardon himself.
  18. True but it's still pretty careless on his part knowing he was being recorded. There is some irony in that the people want to take him down may actually be helping him win the presidency without realizing it. I can see him in the oval office pardoning himself with a big grin on his face holding up the Iran letter.
  19. Diggs might have to get a restraining order at this point.
  20. Agreed. The only scenario I see him being fired this coming season is a 5-12 record or worse with a healthy Allen. He grew up a Steelers fan and probably wants to follow their head coaching model.
  21. Josh has only been elite for three seasons though while Manning was already elite when Dungy got there. There's no perfect comparison.
  22. Love the mindset. Not that I have two yard Frank Gore runs on 2nd and 10 on my mind under Daboll.
  23. Yeah. You're right. I just always have in my mind that 4 to 1 odds means if you bet $25 you gain $100 if it hits (with no vig). Good call and way to make me feel worse.
  24. I'm 99% sure my math is correct and it's 46% and approximately 57% (56.8% to be exact).
  25. I like to go by Vegas odds. We were 10 to 1 in 2020 (10% chance of making the Super Bowl), 5 to 1 in 2021 (20%), and 4 to 1 (25%) last year. The odds of us making the Super Bowl over the last three seasons at least once based off that was 46%. Now we're back to 5 to 1 (20%). The odds of us making the Super Bowl is 20% this year. However, if you factor in the last three seasons the odds of us making the Super Bowl once in these four years is approximately 57%. That's what I'm going with this year and am going to choose to ignore Einstein's chart.
