Pretty lackluster schedule after a tough start. Browns, Lions, Bears, Pats (twice), Jets, and Fish (twice). We don't know for sure if we'd have lost that Bengals MNF game but the way their offense was moving against our depleted secondary I don't see us likely winning that game.

That leaves Hurts out of the top 50 behind Lamar and Herbert. Eagles fans are going to be thrilled. He was #2 on Monson's list but this is PFF as a whole's list. He's the #3 QB on this list.

2021 Titans 8 games with Derrick Henry -147.6 rushing yards per game. Henry: 219 carries, 937 yards, 4.3ypc. 20 carries of ten yards or more (6-2 record) 2021 Titans 9 games after his toe injury with rotating backups - 135.8 yards per game. 193 carries, 908 yards, 4.7ypc. 22 carries of ten yards or more. (6-3 record) It's more about the o-line and scheme and having a back like Henry will give you a little bit more overall (11.8 more rushing yards per game in this case) but not significant enough to pay a back top money.

Why'd he have to come back so much? Mostly because the Raiders defense hasn't ranked in the top 20 in any season in that time frame. Glad to see him get out of the dysfunctional Raiders franchise. Carr's a good QB (in the 13 to 16 range) who struggled in McDaniels offense as he regressed in almost every aspect. He was awful in the Red Zone. It's a tough offense to learn in one year which is pry why they switched to Jimmy G on a cheaper deal. I don't think he's good enough though to be the driving force behind a Super Bowl victory though.

It’s easier to find an elite potential running back in the mid rounds than a WR. It’s passing on guys like Metcalf or Pickens for a OG or CB that ticks me off about Beane.

No they won’t. They’d put more money into their o-line as that’s way more predictive of running game success. See Pittsburgh’s o-line with Najee Harris.

Smart teams would still just cycle through RB's on a three year cost controlled rookie deal and not re-sign them. Getting rid of the rookie wage minimum scale for RB's or reducing eligibility requirements to enter the NFL draft would help somewhat. However, then players at other positions would complain. I don't see an easy fix.

To be fair we're only four years away from Zeke getting a 6 year 90 million dollar contract with 50 million guaranteed. The running backs complaining now didn't know how quickly the position would become devalued growing up.
