Who is the 2019 MVP of The Buffalo Bills?
ILBillsfan replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I chose Allen because obviously he plays QB so they get the nod on any offensive player unless you have a running back that just dominates. Hi energy he brought to the team imo is what made him the choice as well. It would be hard to give it to any defensive player as I thought they played well together and there was not one that dominated on that side of the ball. -
So after watching the Kyle Williams mic'd up he made the comment after Josh ran the 30 yard touchdown that he thought he was gonna try to throw the ball out of the stadium. So from the layout of the stadium I think the west end would probably be more ideal unless of course the wind was crazy. I think this would be awesome to see him do and it has obviously been talked about by his teammates. I could see it definitely happen and will look forward to it when it does. I think the fans would go nuts and some lucky person outside will get a ball that could be a real collection item

Agree with this assessment. Lots of work to do in FA and the draft. -
Cool Detailed Analysis - Zay Jones

I think there is still ample time for Jones to only get better. A strong veteran presence would be nice to keep developing the young receivers. -
Charges dropped in Reuben Foster DV case
ILBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
DV is very sad since there is not only fear of the individual and future encounters with the individual. They are usually financially not able to survive on their own and feel the best option is to stay and keep feeding they will change monster in their head (not trying to say they can't change but for most they never do) -
optimistic on the pick draft night. I have been more than pleased this kid has an aura about him, you can feel his love of the game and see him growing. I have to calm myself since it has been so long since I have watched games and rooted like I did this year. He is polarizing in a good way and as I have read there are some Kelly traits I see in him. Very excited to see the improvements form year one to year two.

player signatures on game dey Miami v Buffalo
ILBillsfan posted a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bringing my kids form Illinois to the game on Sunday and was looking for any board members tips on getting any signatures form the players. I'm guessing pregame the players have their routines and would not want to be hassled with that unless somebody has a different opinion. Or is there an area after the game that players go thru and are more willing to do some signatures? Thanks in advance! -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Can't Beat the Pats Yet
ILBillsfan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was Gilmore in coverage on those passes they where saying bad choices. Mentioned that pats in single coverage and rookie WR vs Gilmore is a bad choice to go after when there was other options to go to. Did not hear them say vs Mcourty The most annoying thing was the pats putting everyone w 7 yrds of the LOS and not one audible or game adjustment to attack the middle of the field. The one that stood out was when he tried to hit McKEnzie on a 3rd and two and it was incomplete very tight coverage and on the other side of the field it appeared to be the WR's doing a rub in/out move on the corner and the WR came open. im not sure who the WR was and its more than likely a trust issue with WR's right now with Josh or what works better in practice and getting him to read where the open spot in the defense better. Have to remind myself he is a very raw QB -
Offense is obviously the glaring weakness but there are holes to fi on the Defense as well as we have an OLB and DT that are aging and could definitely use an elite DE. So I have no issues in this draft at going BPA since really both sides have issues. It should be a very interesting off season and draft.

Newton has a bad shoulder I'd bet a lot of money on off season shoulder surgery he can't throw the ball down the field Bears are looking more and more like the NFC favorite imo Saints and Rams are not playing well atm

Once again we really need a TE
ILBillsfan replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep but I'd put TE below Oline WR RB and that is only the offense side. -
Well now that there is no true number one WR on this team Zay is drawing the other teams best corner presently so he is struggling. I don't expect Zay to win those match ups. he has had an ok sophomore year and I think when the Bills get back to having a number one WR he will make a nice #2 or #3 option for Josh.

Was at the end of the first half and the kick was blocked. -
As far as right now yep I'm good with him Still needs a lot of refining in the passing department I want to give him all of next year as well.
