Rosa Parks was protesting because the busses were practicing segregation which she wanted to end. The players are protesting the flag at a football game because they want to protest police brutality? racism in general? (I put question marks as many people have said different things as to why they kneel) Are they trying to say that American ideals (which is what the flag represents) involves these things? I don't think so, and I think that is why people feel the protest is misguided and dividing people
