Help me understand an OBJ trade
LABILLBACKER replied to Behindenemylines's topic in The Stadium Wall
Go get OBJ once ready now that Crowder is out indefinitely and what the hell....go trade a 2nd for Saquon...don't let Mahomes touch either of those guys....piss off everyone. -
The wrong prediction in no particular order.
-
Exactly....last year we took care of business in Arrowhead but those embarrassing loses to Pittsburgh, Jacksonville & the Wind NE game just destroyed us. We've already lost a weather (112° index) game in Miami. We can't afford a let down this Sunday regardless of the slew of injuries.
-
Of course it is and it should be factored in. I'm sick and tired of playing KC on the road in the playoffs and I'm sure Sean is too. Give most of these guys an extra week to heal and hope our depth and QB1 can get us this W. But of course the devils advocate argument is we better not lose to a Steeler team w/o TJ and a rookie qb making his first start. Then this board will lose their $#!?

I guess this time the Bills JV team will have to beat Pittsburgh. Most of these guys better be rested and ready for Arrowhead.

So at least 2 in a row and possibly 3 in Buffalo should be on the horizon. 2015 @ KC 2017 @ KC 2020 @ Buf 2021 @ KC 2022 @ KC So if you throw in our playoff inability to earn a higher seed than KC, we've faced them on the road 6 out of the last 7 meetings dating back to 2015. This formula is mathematically flawed. It should be a home and home alternate with a year or 2 off like 2018, 2019.
-
So when does this "formula" say we get a regular season home game v KC?
-
It feels like we haven't played KC in Buffalo for 100 years. This scheduling nonsense better flip soon.
-
Agree....Hackett always has been and always will be terrible. Matty Ice looks like he's 50 years old.

If this game was an injured Bronco, it would've been put down by now.

This game is like watching paint dry. Maybe Fitzy can crack jokes at halftime....

All-22 Grades for Bills/Ravens (The Athletic)

I getting to feel his days are numbered with this organization. -
Now is the time we need Cook to start playing well
LABILLBACKER replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one denies our OL struggles with run blocking. And as others have accurately mentioned Cook seems tentative and lacking in confidence. Devin needs to continue getting 75% of the touches and the dumpoffs/screens need to continue. Maybe Kromer can overhaul the OL next off season? We're just going to accept that we won't have a traditional run game. Moss is probably gone and we'll be drafting another RB in April. -
1. Our OL sucks at run blocking 2. Our RB's are all mediocre with Motor the best 3. Dorsey knows this and has decided to use screens & dump offs as our run attack. 4. Kromer's impact so far has been underwhelming 5. Just like last year we'll start pulling guards in the 2nd half of the season in an attempt to generate some D/E gap runs.

Singletary was close to fumbling with seconds remaining

Our entire RB room is a non story. -
I don't care what day they play as long as it's cold and their heaters mysterious malfunction.

Bills and Tavon Austin mutually part ways

It's time to kick the tires on Shakir & Hodgins. We need youth going forward at wr. -
Wow....stunned....had no idea he had that fire. Maybe they better find that money....🤔🤔

These last 2 years I consider Tremaine as a huge SS. And wherever he ends up, that's the role that suits his skillset the best.

Beas will always be beloved in Buffalo. What he meant to the team and helping Josh turn into the cyborg superstar he is today. That doesn't happen without veterans like Smoke, Manny & Rock a Bye Beasley. I know the whole covid situation got a little salty, but as a vaccinated person, he had every right to his own decision.

Orlovsky: Bills have become one of best screen teams
LABILLBACKER replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
It has replaced our run game. Dorsey has identified the OL sucks at run blocking so this is the only reasonable outlet to keep pressure off Josh. I can live with it temporarily but we still have to fix the original problem. -
We're not allowed a good weather game. Wind 18mph

How is a new RB going to make a difference behind this OL?
LABILLBACKER replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem with our run game is mediocre running backs and awful run blockers. This isn't a one or the other argument. I think Dorsey realizes this obvious flaw and has cleverly decided to make the dump offs our run attack. It would take time to overhaul both deficiencies.
