The Next Four Leading Into the Bye
LABILLBACKER replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm convinced no one carefully watches our coaching. Yes Cincy & Philly are beatable, but not if our coaches trip over each other. -
NFL Trade Deadline Oct 31 - Rumored List of Players Available
LABILLBACKER replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree but unfortunately the few good DT's we have always seem to get hurt. I think we need to trade for a better conditioning staff. Any top rated ones on pff? -
We're not sniffing that ridiculous contract. Just roll with Bernard & Williams and wait for Matt to return.

The Next Four Leading Into the Bye
LABILLBACKER replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
We absolutely must beat the Jets AND Broncos to stay in a WC hunt. It would be great to miraculously steal one from Cincy or Philly but probably not realistic. I do have us beating Mahomes in week 14, going 8-5. Those loses to Jest & Cheats really hurt. No business losing to those 2 clown qbs. Even with the injuries. -

Can't wait till those 2 break up...and take Patrick and his stone hands wrs with him. Then Tay Tay can write a song about how she took down the mighty Chefs. -

God I wish we could've somehow drafted McDuffie. -

Finally Russ....now what's the O/U on how many flags the Chefs get in this last 10:33?....I'll say 5. -

So true. They could fix it if they wanted but they embrace poor officiating as part of the entertainment package. -

Dalton Kincaid - Khalil Shakir - Elite Hands - YAC
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree....as much as I love Knox, acquiring Kincaid has opened up so many more 11P options for the offense. We unfortunately can't even talk about getting out of Dawson's contract until 2025. -
NFL Trade Deadline Oct 31 - Rumored List of Players Available
LABILLBACKER replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you....has anyone noticed the incredible drop off in pressure up the middle since DQ got hurt. Ed is literally all by himself. Phillips, Settle & Ford combined aren't even worth a 6pk of Genesee. DT is the #1 priority followed closely by LB, CB. We don't even have a good enough run blocking OL to justify Henry? -
Hot take regarding McDermott and the end of games
LABILLBACKER replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD definitely loves his last second TO's at the worst time. But this characteristic/ trend is hardly new. He's done it since year 1. He needs to trust/teach his Defense what to do in these situations. Not just always swoop in and call a TO so the opposing OC can simply shift out of it. -
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly TNF Bucs edition
LABILLBACKER replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem of not closing or having a "choking" reputation becomes a true reflection of your coaches. Belichick with Brady would literally cut your tongue out. The great elite coaches go for the kill shot. Sean doesn't want to hurt feelings. Once he has that 10-14 pt lead he crawls into that shell, allowing teams to stick around. -
Fitzpatrick's veiled criticism of Dorsey?
LABILLBACKER replied to The Helmet of's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree....I guess unless we're playing KC, Cincy, Mia or Philly, you can expect a high level of conservative play (as usual) from McD once we get a double digit lead. -
There was nothing comfortable about the last 11 minutes of that game. Bail out penalties. Botched punt spot. Back to back ricochet points. And a hail Mary with guys dropping like bowling pins. Never a doubt 🤪

Would you be for "Eye in the Sky" officiating?

Cool....imperfect results -
Do you think the offense was better yesterday?
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh and the offense was in a zone during the 1st half. But after we got to 24, we definitely took our foot off the pedal. Without those two 4th down bail outs, we should've won 31-10.
