Well if the NFL wants to steer the Chiefs toward a SB every year, they can enjoy the drop in ratings. It won't be compelling watching Kermit every February. And besides, does a team that great and well coached really need the extra push? The NFL has become a choreographed entertainment show.

We have now officially wasted 50% of Josh's career and probably his most athletic years. I'm guessing he plays 8 more seasons to 36. He'll be forced to become more of a pocket passer. This will make his "2nd half career" accomplishments more challenging. I've totally given up on ever expecting McDermott to build a quality playoff defense. Josh will go down as the greatest player in Bills history. But asking him to do it all always has been and always will be stupid and unsustainable.

Defense has been a disaster for the entire McDermott era. And as long as his GM continues to make failed early picks on defense, nothing will ever change. I'm not even confident McDermott shifts to more man or base 4-3? It's like that dream where you're running down the hallway that never ends.

McDermott will NEVER magically become a better coach than Reid. And Babich is a child compared to Spags. I don't care how many more years this organization is dumb enough to keep McD. The results will always be the same. McD and his worthless defense is the definition of insanity. He's asked Josh to save his job for 8 years now. He should be embarrassed. Show some pride and excel at your specialty. Your scheme and defenses have been a fail.

Name me one great defensive player that Beane has drafted? ......crickets....

2 straight years when we've needed our OL to stand firm late in a game, they fail. Dion getting pushed into Josh causing an erant throw to Shakir and this year everyone reading the shift wrong.

Their coaches sit at the adult table. Ours sit at the kids table. Cook is undoubtedly our 2nd best offensive weapon. The most important drive of the Allen era and he's on the sideline? Absolutely moronic

So incredibly stupid not to use him on that last drive. Not to mention all the failed tush push crap. Brady better improve next year because he was not impressive the 2nd half v Ravens and most of the KC game.

Maybe Beane and his defensive scouts just flat out struggle to draft quality D guys early. He's done better with offense but if he doesn't start landing some better D players, this team will never get over the proverbial hump.

Of course Josh is going to do the valiant thing and support his players. That's why he's the leader that he is. But once...just once can our coaches ever outscheme KC? I get the feeling the only way we get to a SB is if Mahomes gets injured or someone else beats them. Clearly we can't and they're living rent free in our heads.

Yup, we missed a very doable trade up opportunity last April for BTJ. This draft is very weak in WRS. If I'm drafting I go DT, DE, WR, CB, S. And the late picks the same positions. Our defense was pathetic last year.

Most mocks I see have us taking DT, CB, DE first 3 picks.

Aside from a dynamic wr, we better dump all the picks and resources into fixing this pathetic defense.

Over a 100 million extra eyes on a SB advertising was always the objective. Mission accomplished!

The owner (where it all starts) has accepted losing to the Chiefs every year. He has a successful regular season team that has an amazing fan base that generates revenue. He's halfway to his new stadium. And he's dealing with running everything without Kim's help. I'm sure he doesn't want to rock the boat. So basically Terry is sticking with McD & BB no matter what. That's our now...that's our future. Many fans have accepted this narrative. And many have not. How many more KC playoff loses can an owner and fan base tolerate? How long can Josh play good soldier and tolerate such an obvious lack of support. The Superman narrative is getting tired.

I could care less about regular season stats. The only stat that matters is 34.75 which is the average points given up to KC in the playoffs. He has absolutely failed to build a defense smart & tough enough to stop Andy. Sean will go to his grave knowing he was Andy's biotch.

He just can't keep failing on 1st thru 3rd round picks. These are important and should be valued. These were supposed to be the picks used to build our defense.

Let me start by saying Von, Groot and Epenesa have been big disappointments. I'm not retaining any of these 3. Hamlin has to go also. He is a perennial backup that never should've seen as many snaps as he had. I'm also letting Rasul & Cooper walk. Just not enough contributions from them. Obviously keep Rapp and pray we can mold Bishop somehow? Hated losing Cine. Elam will probably be outright released as his trade value might be a 7th round pick. This defense needs a complete rebuild. Both on x's & o's and Jimmy's & Joes. Last year was our opportunity to land a wr and we failed. And we can't count on our TE's anymore. Josh does things that no other qb I've seen can do. That would've been a legendary play if Dalton can make a basic basket catch. All I know is compared to Reid & Spags, McDermott and his coordinators are children.
