  1. Sorry to strike a nerve so early in the morning. Maybe a beer some Cheerios and a trip to Dyngus Day is what you need to relax it up. no I do not feel smarter for pointing out that Buffalo is on the low end if not the absolute bottom when it comes to offense. They had abysmal results and They have no one on the staff who is considered a current great offensive mind or an up and coming offensive strategizer. If the question is “where would Rosen fit with a challenging offensive mind” sorry that’s not Buffalo by a mile. I still hope they draft Rosen. But as far as participating in this exercise, not a chance Rosen is anywhere the fit forcbuffalo based on Offensive Minded staff.
  2. This is not the first time hearing that Josh Rosen really needs to go to a team with some sound, intellectual Offensive Minds. Which unfortunately does not seem like Buffalo at all. McDermott seems like your standard Defensive Minded coach who is like a a pig in **** if his teams with 13-7 every week. Dabol History and word out of OBD seems more running, running, running. You know who Rosen should go to? Sean Payton and the Saints and sit behind Brees for 2 seasons. Payton would challenge Rosen and that to me seems like the perfect fit.
  3. You study mayfield? i love the accuracy numbers. But question, since I don’t know...maybe you do. are his completion numbers legit? Or scheme/manufactured good?
  4. I would think the odds for Jackson and Rudolph would be the highest simply due to those two being the easiest and the least barriers to get to for Buffalo. 1.) Jackson 2.) Rudolph 3) Mayfield 4a.) Allen 4b.) Rosen 5) Other QB 6) Darnold Again i I feel this order is based on my view of the path of least resistance.
  5. PLAYER ’Coach I just got out of prison. Yeah beat my girl while doing some blow.” COACH ’Forget all that. Here is the play I want you to run.’ PLAYER ’Yes Coach.’ COACH ’My boy!’ ROSEN ’Sorry Coach. Just got back from a rally for anti-guns.’ COACH ’Well...we will talk about that later. Here is the play I want you to run.’ ROSEN ’Coach I was doing some extra film prep and that along with some analytical data would suggest we should actually run a different play seeing that it is the higher percentage play based on the opponents tendencies.’ COACH ’I hate you.’
  6. So you are saying the Glenn Trade was made completely isolated from any plans towards my getting into the top 5. dont beleive that for a second.
  7. so Buffalo moved to 12 with the understanding from Indy that 12 was good enough with additional picks to get 3? BecUse if that is true then Indy double crossed buffalo. or did buffalo randomly pick 12 and just assumed 12 and extra picks would be good enough for Indy? Because if true then Beane is naive and green. also, if Indy and buffalo had a deal...did Indy give buffalo an opportunity to up their offer? Or give buffalo time to maybe get the #7,8,9 Pick and then trade?
  8. That’s why I put TBD at the top. We will look back on it once we see how things play out and I feel be able to have a better understanding of it’s worth.
  9. TBD. All depends on this draft. i mean we made the playoffs playing in some key categories worse in 2017 than in 2016, Traded the QB who led the team to the playoffs it wasn’t what you would call a season to build off of. Because we have taken a step back at the most important position. now was one extra game worth the loss of a franchise QB? if we still land one...then all is well. If not, then I might say no.
  10. Sometimes I think it comes down to the QB didn’t make it happen when it needed to happen. These guys can be whiz’s in the board, but when it’s Week 9 with 40 seconds left and your down by 4 on 4th and 7...you need to hit it, you don’t get a do over. I feel you lose or miss that opportunity then things begin to snow ball from those failures.
  11. Giants are so interesting. 2017 Off Season I heard a lot of talk about how the giants were going to be a dangerous team...then 2017 happened. OBJ got hurt, other injuries and a over his head coach exposed. Everything snowballed. I think the Giants are closer to being that good team many thought in 2017 than they are needing to start from fresh. In many ways Giants were hampered by poor coaching just like Rex Ryan hampered the Bills...but when Buffalo received competent coaching with McDermott...things turned. giants now have a more competent Head Coach, OBJ healthy, Nate Solder locking down the blind side. another factor...THE NFC EAST...I might be alone but I feel the NFC EAST is open. - Eagles...Questions at QB position with the health of Wentz and possible debate should Wentz struggle. - Washington...New QB (will it gel?), who isn’t a world beater and somewhat of an unimpressive overall team. - Cowboys...Jerry Jones drama and failure to live up to unrealistic expectations...also D. Prescot migjt also not be the real deal. i feel with Questions at QB for three other teams, the Giants have the strongest foundation at QB with Eli. so what would I do? I would probably want to trade down to #4 or within the Top 10, but not our of the Top 10. UNLESS I was getting some actual players. if Buffalo wants my #2 I want lots of picks, but I either want Buffalo to first move into the Top 10 OR Trade me picks, along with either Jerry Hughes or LeSean McCoy. (I don’t know if Giants could fit tht cap wise)
  12. I’ve seen this before, but someone also needs to do the Super Losing QBs too.
  13. Wouldn't you rather McCarron and Peterman safely guide the Bills to a comfortable 4-12 record with a nice shot at the Top 2019 QB?
  14. Why is Jackson the target? Snarkily I thought...’cause he is the only one they can get.’ stinker!
  15. Well that is good to know. Now that i think about it I do recall that announcement.
  16. To me that sounds like putting their job of draft evaluation on a very high pedestal. If your 24/7 job is to do this, and you have been evaluating these guys since the last draft ended. If you don't have a strong feeling by now...it ain't happening.
  17. I hope this isn't the same scouting staff whose reports have influenced many G.M.'s over the years to skip the QB position.
  18. Probably GM speak...but not a good look to say this, "I’ve met them all, but some of them for 15 minutes and that’s not enough to even draft a guy at 12. I don’t know what we’re doing, we have six weeks to the draft, and over that time I’m going to try to get to know every player, not only the quarterbacks, of who we’re going to consider.” and then the next day your contemporary for a rival team makes a deal. What? Do the Bills GM and Scouts not work as fast or are able to figure things out as quickly as the Jets? Why not? Obviously I don't believe that to be the case, but you shouldn't say you haven't had enough time and then get one upped. It makes you look slow at your job.
  19. if no QB at 12 then none at all. Any QB you pick at 22 is going to be replaced when Buffalo selects a QB in the Top 3 in 2019. Yeah...McCarron and Peterman and #22 will lead us to 3-13.
  20. And probably Beane just using GM speak. I mean...he has to know. If the Jets already know who they like. Beane has to know.
  21. Keenum was the most accomplished FA QB on the market this off-season. Only pointing it out because I feel like he should have garnered enough credibility and leverage with his success with the Vikings to ask and be given teams potential plans for the upcoming draft. Maybe not. But I just feel he doesn't pick Denver if he feels he is getting benched in the pre-season for Mayfield or Rosen.
  22. "I’ve met them all, but some of them for 15 minutes and that’s not enough to even draft a guy at 12. I don’t know what we’re doing, we have six weeks to the draft, and over that time I’m going to try to get to know every player, not only the quarterbacks, of who we’re going to consider.” Brandon Beane on Friday I hope he didn't tell the Colts something similar when they told him the Jets had an offer and asked do you want to counter?
  23. That's what I am going with. That the Giants want Barkley. And if Buffalo can get to #4...they can offer the Giants the #4 with more Draft Picks and a Player if needed to move to #2 and Giants STILL get that player because the Jets are ALL IN on QB. I just can't believe they like 3 QBs that much when our GM is quoted "I’ve met them all, but some of them for 15 minutes and that’s not enough to even draft a guy at 12. I don’t know what we’re doing, we have six weeks to the draft, and over that time I’m going to try to get to know every player, not only the quarterbacks, of who we’re going to consider.”
