This is more offseason talk than anything, but White has quite possibly played his last game as a Bill. He was a great player for sure, but expecting he will be able to return to form after an Achilles injury is wishful thinking. Probably a February release when his roster bonus is due.

Agree. These are both good teams but they have their flaws. The key is Allen. He’s the better QB and as he goes , so go the Bills. If he plays like he’s shown he can in the past, the Bills will win another AFCE crown. If he looks like he has the past couple of weeks, the Bills will be watching the playoffs from their couches.

Exactly.. the Ravens aren’t about to lay down for a hated division rival. They also aren’t worried about playing the Bills - or anyone for that matter- in the playoffs.

Vs Chargers the plays were there ; Josh threw some very poor passes in that one. Should have been a much easier win. As for BB, everyone has been ready for those WR screens to Diggs. Every single opponent. The play hasn’t worked all year, don’t understand why it hasn’t been scrapped already.

It’s simple really. Bills win on Sunday vs Pats and they’re a virtual lock for playoffs - 97% chance with a win.

Bills deal with Von is essentially a 3 year deal as structured. Was never intended for him to be a Bill past that. With legal issues , maybe he’s gone a year early. Wilson deal is worse.

The Bills have lost games when Allen played great. Sometimes it really IS better to be lucky than good !

I know it has to be a certain amount of days before the game , not sure how many. Someone will chime in I’m sure. Detour would probably be worth it if necessary!

The game is definitely eligible to be flexed to Saturday. The Bills have played a couple of these Saturday games in the past and I wouldn’t be shocked to see it in the prime time Sat slot. Where it ends up likely will depend on the playoff implications.

To be fair, they were already auditioning for jobs. Staley was dead man walking as HC.

A side note to the game for sure , but whoever chose the music for the commercial transitions for todays telecast on Fox gets an A+ from me. It was great the whole game.

Interims are 15-12 straight up since 2010. Don’t know how many of those were home vs away but hardly overwhelming.

The main similarity to the 2021 team is they were also 7-6 at this point. So it’s possible the Bills could go on a run here. Josh and the offense are the meal ticket. This defense is just not as reliable as the 2021 squad.

Enough NFL rules benefit the offense. The rule is fine and shouldn’t be changed. The point of football is to move the football across the gridiron and eventually across the opposing goal line. If you happen to lose possession before the goal line and the ball goes out of bounds you’re in luck - possession goes to the offense. If you lose possession and neither score nor lose it before the goal line is reached ( “ through “ the opposing end zone ) your possession ends. Makes perfect sense . Don’t like it ? It’s simple -don’t fumble.

We stopped scoring on almost every drive, getting tons of first downs and going for it if we came up short in no man’s land. 3 and outs were almost unheard of.
