If Daboll called these types of pass plays all game , Allen’s completion pctg would go up considerably

Couldn’t disagree more. While the Cowboys were playing poorly as you described, the problem was the Bills were playing about as well as they could. They led by just 7 points at the half. The Bills lost SB XXVIII to the Cowboys for the same reason they lost the year before; the Bills D was just a bit too soft vs the run and the ‘Boys outmuscled them. The Bills were the less physical team in all their Superbowls , and added Ted Washington a few years too late.

Yeah, understandable. I always consider that if you aren’t drafting a QB, a slot or two of draft position at the top of the order won’t matter too much. I’m more worried about those doing the drafting. It makes it a bit easier than worrying about draft order. However, I always have concern about the playoff slotting as I just despise New England. Here’s a question: what is your thought on the LA Chargers and their stadium atmosphere/ attendance? I’m almost thinking I should pull for the Chargers to get the #1 seed rather than KC. Trouble is, I think a game @ LAC might be a sort of road “ home game” for NE with Pats fans buying all the seats. JetBlue flights to LAX are pretty cheap.

The Texans OL performed poorly, and their ground game looked nonexistent.

Bodine is backup caliber at best, I can see why CIN wasn’t too upset about letting him go. As a starter, he’s the type of player that you are always looking to replace. He’s better than Groy as a backup, but that’s about it. The Bills need to be able to protect the middle of the pocket so Allen can climb it and make plays. If they don’t fix this weakness, he’ll be taking off running far too often.

Close to a worlds record for NFL concussion protocol. He should just retire after the season. Barkley looked much better than Anderson with even less prep time. He should be the backup. As for McDs comment, we know not to read too much into that. Competitive advantage or whatever he wants to call it.

Yeah, the Dolphins thing is really strange as the Phins have been mostly mediocre throughout that stretch. Hard to explain. The Bills are mentally shook by the Pats if Brady plays, and wilt under the pressure. They will not win another game vs NE until Brady is gone.

Still doesn’t mean squat: it’s all about the overall seeding. NE has lost championship games on the road. At Foxboro, it’s only happened at the hands of an elite defensive team. There aren’t any of those going to the AFC title game imo. KC may still win their division, but it’s all for naught if the Patsies somehow slip into the one seed.
