  1. Yep. Their TEs have done squat. CIN is officially a joke losing to AZ. Trades on the horizon
  2. Niners look pretty darn good, Bosa is a terror. . I think the Bills need to be in the market for an edge rusher to put their defense over the top.
  3. I understand being able to score points , but as you point out offense still can be unreliable at times. The pendulum has swung so far to the offensive side with football analysts that they almost treat having a top defense as passé. KC defense is a huge liability.
  4. You can’t model yourself after a one in a hundred bazillion fluke like the Pats*. Their model works because of Brady , and that’s about it. The Bills have cap room to add good players and can certainly make a trade or two. I don’t see Beane spending picks like a drunken sailor or straining their cap.
  5. While I think Williams bring an element of physicality ( and steady hands) to the WR corps that was missing, he’s still a role player type. The Bills need a number 1 “ matchup” kind of WR to make their passing game above average.
  6. Chargers aren’t going to get a great deal for Gordon. However, I’d pass on this deal and try to improve the passing game.
  7. To be fair, the Bills were the 30th ranked passing offense last year and scored few points. While some of the predictions seemed very low, it’s not as if they were returning a potent offense to the field.
  8. I think maybe people just want to understand what actually happened on the play. It appears that the play has “ broken down “ and guys are trying to get open for their QB. Yeldon stops , then starts running across the field in while looking at the QB. He then stops suddenly, but Allen has already let the pass go to a spot where it looks like Yeldon would have been if he continues running. You don’t “ sit down “ on what essentially is a scramble drill. Remember the phrase “ always running, always alert “ ? Just who was Allen throwing to , then ? He owned the throw post game ( as he should) , and wasn’t going to blame anyone else. It appears that Yeldon was the likely target. I haven’t seen a more likely explanation yet. Fwiw , I think Yeldon has done a decent job so far, in spite of his ill-timed fumble.
  9. And you still get paid the balance of your contract. Not a bad deal.
  10. Lack of another “ matchup” receiving target, injury at RB, mistakes by the QB/ OL. That’s about it. Allen needs to continue doing more of what he did yesterday, cut down the turnovers and Beane should be in the trade market. Singletary’s return will give the Bills a solid tandem at RB.
  11. Oh well. Still plenty of time for the Colts to fall by the wayside.
  12. KCs O line is a joke. The LT has gotten pushed into the backfield all night
  13. Who is Tray ? Never heard of him
  14. Not surprised Colts are playing tough, just surprised how inept KC looks in so many facets of the game.
  15. Wow a terrible call. Total joke
  16. The Chiefs should probably just let them score here and preserve all possible time
  17. That settles it. They are simply not going to change one of these “ judgment calls” unless a Robey Coleman situation.
  18. Haven’t seen one of these PIs get overturned yet, but this could be it. Sucks cuz I want the Colts to lose of course.
  19. Interesting. I was pulling for Baltimore. I’d rather see PIT fall back in the pack as maybe our road game there will be a touch less hostile. At least we get BAL at home.
  20. KC defense is Swiss cheese. If they didn’t have Mahomes they’d be 1-3.
  21. Yes, they are still an offense with a lot of new parts, and not a complete unit yet. They still don’t have a true #1 WR , and are playing with rookie TEs. Definitely not a finished product. Having a top defense may influence Daboll to keep things low risk as well.
  22. It seems their drives have stalled on penalties, turnovers , and sacks. Don’t know if the numbers back this up.
  23. I actually thought Alexander’s horse collar was a smart penalty at the time. It was blatant, but thatbplay looked like it was going for huge yardage if he didn’t.
  24. Work in progress. Needs to cut down on turnovers and slide judiciously like he did today. I’d like to see more chunk plays out of Allen’s arm. Still a ways to go, but he’s improving. The Bills couldn’t score a TD in a very winnable playoff game with Tyrod so not sure why he’s being mentioned here. He’s too low of a bar to shoot for. The Bills are 4-1 and in good shape, even with a young flawed Allen. He still has potential to improve. I’d say a C+ so far.
  25. That looked like a classic Gronk move to me. He rarely got called for that.
