  1. What is needed right now is for the country and it’s people to pull together and not apart.
  2. Of course. Let’s not trust anyone. That will help us beat the virus.
  3. I would disagree some if your conclusions and would welcome discussing off line. Doing so here would invite hyperbolic responses instead of real dialog.
  4. We can both open up businesses AND wear masks, distance and such. No harm no foul either way.
  5. Hey my fellow old man, hope all is well with you. To your point, when you have a new virus of apparent high infectivity and with no vaccine, you have to err on the side of caution.
  6. Stop with the agenda stuff, please, and let's discuss rationally. This virus can be carried by those asymptomatic and is transmitted by droplets. The idea behind wearing masks is to help the wearer from spreading droplets. The masks do not completely prevent, they help. Distancing does not completely prevent, it helps. And so on. These policies have helped hold things down, they don't prevent. They help while we get to a vaccine and more effective treatments. I would agree wit h a liability waiver And if I were a company I'd go with the recommended precautions.
  7. Going back to work and precautions are not mutually exclusive. And your mask study is from 2015. The CDC right now on their site has about 7 different newer studies supporting mask use. Open businesses with distancing, masks, washing hands. Do both. No reason not to.

  9. Youth is wasted on the young. Wake up call for the young man.
  10. You all have fun. I come over on this side of the board every so often just to see how the weird kids over In the corner of the playground are behaving, and sometimes I can’t resist jumping in. I’ll be returning to the sanity of real life now.
  11. No man is above the law. Bedrock principle of our country. To argue that is inane. Innocent until proven guilty. Another bedrock principal. The prosecutors look at the evidence, they think it’s enough to charge they charge. Prosecutors have to make their case and prove your guilt. You as defendant make your case. Doesn’t matter who it is president or not, Trump, Obama, George Washington, could care less which President. Presidents cannot escape being accountable to the law. And prosecutors must make their case. You hold a president above the law they’re called kings. Or dictators.
  12. Your statement changes nothing. No man is above the law. Including our leaders. If he is innocent then fine. If he's guilty fine.
  13. No one is the country is above the law. Should be simple. If his records show nothing then he's got nothing to worry about.
  14. Never have read their stuff, don’t care what they say
  15. Billy Shaw Bruce Kelly OJ with a statue of Ralph at the entrance
  16. I can do it in one word. Belichick.
  17. I’ve always like Fouts. I think people go way overboard in their critiques of all these guys.
  18. Lost another legend today. A great coach and from all accounts a great man in general.
  19. Dareus was a classic example of a guy that quit after getting the big contract.
  20. I’m going to go back in time and say Cookie Gilchrist. I was at autograph day when I was 8 years old trying to get his autograph, and the bigger kids kept pushing me back. Cookie saw it, told them to let me in, then picked me up and put me on his shoulder.
  21. Lot of unknowns, like this one, like whether generating antibodies eliminates reinfection, and so on. I feel for the governors of the states right now. The balancing act between protecting health and getting economies going again is very difficult. The governor here in Indiana is taking what I think is a good approach, watching the data and starting slowly to bring things back on line.
  22. I understand we are focused on the mortality rate of the virus, but one should also keep in mind the potential for long term morbidity. For example, there is concern now that there may be a higher incidence of clotting disorders that could be affecting younger populations. Not saying that should necessarily stop folks for going out, but as a reminder than even the younger population should be using protective measures as things start to open back up.
  23. Lot of stuff we just don't know for sure about yet.
