  1. i only had to the orgo, but p-chem sounds awful. I thought i was going to study abroad one semester, so i took it during the summer at U of R. it's not that it was easier, but rather it was the only class i took that session, making it a lot more manageable. i didn't find it hard, but i had to practice a lot.
  2. we call that, "toilet bowl white".
  3. the organic chem final will always kill you. they had to rescue a girl from a gorge in letchworth the other day as well. i assumed she stepped over a wall to take a pic and fell in.
  4. you don't need to be emotional. just have common sense. like adams failed to do. that guy has a lot to lose, he made a bad decision, and now he has to deal with it. just like you and i would have to if we shoved someone to the ground. not to hard to understand if you're reasonable. so...what would you do if this happened to you?
  5. as mentioned before, for all the people who thinks this is no big deal, i wonder how you would react if you were shoved to the ground like that, or if someone you cared about was. way too much love for an athlete here.
  6. you're really going to phrase this as adams was protecting his body? he's much larger and stronger than that camera man, so i have a very hard time taking that as an excuse. it's one thing if it's an accident where they bump into each other and someone gets knocked down. that's not what happened though. adams goes far out of his way to shove him, say something, (it seems) and walk right away. if it was diggs i'd think it was wildly as bad as if it was adams. the protecting his body nonsense and the camera man, who was thrown to the ground, has to be more "considerate"? majestic!
  7. so the reaction is to shove someone to the ground? it could have been completely avoided. you know where i see people constantly bumping into each other? at the gym. people are in their own world, have headphones on, are in conversation, etc. not once have i seen anyone push anyone else to the ground. there's usually just an acknowledgement and people just walk around the other person. simple.
  8. i'm not even sure what he was talking about. just go with it.
  9. i do the best i can!
  10. i'm up to the dark episode. i'm honestly dreading watching it. that ***** was bad enough with game of thrones, and i have no desire to squint at an entire episode. that being said, i'll probably watch it tonight.
  11. di di mau! di di mau!
  12. yeah...it's definitely on how the nfl wants to handle it at this point. it happened on national tv after a primetime game, so it's just not something you can sweep under the rug. i agree that whatever adams does to get rid of this would be in his best interest. if he can make it go away quietly/quickly, i don't think anyone will care in a few weeks.
  13. as d-bag of a move as it was, i'm not in the multiple game category. i'd be a little surprised if it's more than one game, but we'll see how the nfl wants to handle this. i mean, you certainly can't pull this off at work without repercussion, and the nfl is a job for these guys. a fine, one game out, (which i also think includes the salary for that game) and now attorney troubles. i have to imagine that gets the point across.
  14. i know at some point i'm going to get very excited about a sack, only to find out it's a 15 yard penalty.
  15. you're really starting to sound like an old man yelling at a cloud here. no one is saying be perfect all the time. incidences happen, and there's consequences for those actions. welcome to life. and let's not start the disrespect for the elders nonsense, (mind you i'm a 45 year old man). just because someone is older doesn't mean they deserve blind respect. you'll get the respect you give to others, and that's exactly how it should be. how many times have we seen "older" folk be complete #######s to someone in food service, retain, comfort care, etc. you're no more deserving than anyone at all.
  16. you seem easily confused.
  17. fair enough, but anyone who thinks disciplining their kids means hitting them is just a ***** parent. hey billsfan1972! i live in your head.
  18. i don't think he should be arrested, but i do think the nfl needs to give him some of the business. he won't have a criminal record, but he will have to pay an attorney.
  19. nonsense. you have no idea, and you're using this as an excuse for poor actions. every week there's athletes who a wildly let down, yet they don't act like children who didn't get their way. this softening of men is just a you issue. you mention participation trophies, gender reveals, adding she/her after my name...come on. if someone got in your way on the street and you shoved them to the ground, would there be no consequences? or if you did it at work? i'm 45 now. i've leaned that with age doesn't necessarily come wisdom which some of the older generation shoves down our throat. it's the older generation that caused this world to be in the situation it is now, so enough of that garbage. sometimes older people are just dumb older people.
  20. technically it was an assault if that the question. i think the best bet is just don't put your hands on anyone.
  21. an assault is a tricky word. when i think assault i think him really getting beaten, which obviously didn't happen. either way he shouldn't have done it. players can't get into it with refs, fans, employees, etc. i know it was in the heat of the moment, and i don't think he's a terrible guy for it, but it happened and some level of discipline has to be handed down. a game, a fine, and everyone moves on.
  22. this is full of all sorts of smart.
