  1. ahhh...i was waiting for this. i just don't agree. a lot of us on here played sports, but still know far better than to shove someone to the ground because you're upset...especially a guy who was there to work. it's the adult equivalent of a tantrum, while on national tv. it has nothing to do whether someone has played a sport and left emotions or not. it has nothing to do with kids these days. certain people act this way and certain people don't. it's been this way for generations, so please let's not act like this is new. if anything, it's a parenting issue if anything, and there's always been lousy parents. what do you think should be done?
  2. you ruin everything...absolutely everything.
  3. if someone sells me on porn, i better damn well see porn. reported.
  4. i think this is reasonable.
  5. oh wow. that is an ####### move. i'd be surprised if the nfl doesn't go out of their way to make an example of this.
  6. i remember watching trent edwards drive for a td against the pats in one of his first games and thinking....yeah, our qb problem is over.
  7. Which one? It’s all so confusing!
  8. Oh no. It’s a great time for all!
  9. Are…are you posting under multiple names? I’ve never seen this one before.
  10. The op starts a thread to draw attention to himself, then gets upset when he draws attention to himself. Outstanding.
  11. i'm pretty sure almost no one around here wants to talk breece hall other than you. if i'm wrong, so be it. this is like leading up to the draft when you shoved hall down our throats over and over again. we get it...this is a look at me thread. again, how were the bills supposed to get hall on this roster? when should they have drafted him, what should they have given to trade up?
  12. you mentioned him a number of times in other threads, and no one responded. you started this thread because of this. besides...wasn't it not an option to draft hall because he was taken prior?
  13. i don't think this was necessary.
  14. people were upset when barkely was the back up too. i get the conversation, but what can a team do to improve qb2 at this point in the season. fitz coming out of retirement is obviously not a option, so what would be one. if the op has a legit option, i'd love to hear it.
  15. Nice. Nice.
  16. You were posting normally in a thread and I checked the board. That needs an alert? This coaching talk has really made you a bit unraveled this week. On occasion we just have to take a step away from the internet. You think you’re anywhere close to that? Just looking out.
  17. Well at least it’s not turning you into an insane poster.
  18. they really were like games minus the tackling. funny you mention that story. they loved weird matchups. a coach who brought a number of his guys with him had a tackle that was an absolute monster. they were running OL/DL drills, and while i wasn't even part of it, i was called over to go against this giant kid because i assumed they thought it would be funny. i couldn't go right at him, (i was 5'9" and 180 lbs) so i tried to quickly skirt around him. well...this kid just took a weird turn and fell right to the ground. he must have twisted something because he didn't take part in a single drill for the rest of the camp. just bad luck.
  19. and those scrimmages, while flag, were pretty intense.
  20. he was a genuinely nice guy. i almost have too much of his stuff as he would give things to give to his aunt to give to my mom. i first me him at a saturday practice walk through, and he wanted to talk to the point of where he needed to be called back to practice.
  21. it was actually a good camp for technique and concepts. they had regular "chalk board" meeting, clinics, and brought in coaches from around the area. i remember entire offensive lines of schools being there. more of a camp than you would think. i was a bit late coming out one morning for stretches, and jim kelly made me run laps.
  22. I think we were at the camp at the same time! i was there the year they brought warren moon in, (i'm guessing between 97-99). Everyone was very nice, but i remember thurman thomas being the least pleasant out of the group. almost off-ish to the kids. i've met john fina a number of times. incredibly nice. my mom and his aunt went to church together, and the aunt was the head secretary at my high school. i met steve christie in his rookie year, and he was just happy to have someone interested in him. Saw ruben brown at the mall...said hi and was very nice back. i've also meet flutie on a number of occasions while in college, and he was super friendly and engaging.
  23. at what point did you and i ever discuss kc in this thread? not once. the only thing you and i have ever talked about in this thread was whether to use just the 2021 season or all of his seasons when evaluating mcd. the thread of the title is, "we don't have the mentality to win close games". that just means we're talking about the bills. no other teams were mentioned, until you decided to do so. you had the choice of answering a yes or no question. you didn't because it didn't back up your argument. then you started adding other factors, making up standards, skewing stats based on your own opinions, yet you have the nerve to call someone obtuse? it's obvious you just don't have the ability to comprehend what's being discussed. you may want to, but you can't. and this isn't just me...this is with many other posters on this board. you need to give up on this one my friend. at this point i truly don't think he understands.
  24. and what does this have to do with anything? no one ever disputed this, or even discussed this. only you. you don't need to make it simpler, because it has zero to do with what was being discussed.
