Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
teef replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
that's what it was. i remember it was a major mistake on the bills part, yet it's always left out when describing that game. -

if i remember correctly, a bill screwed up pretty bad. i think mckelvin dropped a guaranteed int or something along those lines. both teams made mistakes, the bills won. -

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - I Can't Help Myself - I Like Tiger
teef replied to Shaw66's topic in Off the Wall Archives
all i could think about was how poorly that guy has aged over the last 10 years. -
it really is sad. i heard choir practice there years ago, and what an opportunity. this fire will just become part of the legacy of the structure. even the sistine chapel has a bare spot from where the paint collapsed during its restoration. can you imagine being the artist that caused that *****?

i have to imagine they'll salvage any stone they can and build up around it as others have mentioned. we were in venice a few years ago, and there's a famous opera house that caught on fire, burned down, and apparently took a large part of the neighborhood with it. it was being worked on by contractors at the time. as the story goes, in italy, (not sure if this applies to europe or how this works) if a contractor is not on schedule, they'll be penalized for being late. apparently to avoid this from happening, one of the workers set a small fire to back up the schedule and avoid that penalty. well...it raged out of control, and did more damage than anyone could have realized. they'll rebuild, but i can't imagine how much history is lost there.

when i read the headline i thought it was on the nd campus and thought, "good...***** em". now that i know that's not the case, i'm sad.

well, at least she know she has no skills. i remember watching what i think was an mtv reality show where one of the cast made a comment like they just couldn't imagine having a life where you get up and have to go to work every day. what the hell do people do with all that time? i only work 4 days a week and i feel guilty about that sometimes. it would be fun to be young and free, but what does someone in their 40s and 50s do all day without work?

as others have mentioned, if this is the case, i'd put up the grand. that being said, you're a younger guy, and most clients understand that and don't expect you fork out a lot of money. if you can, great, but if i were in their shoes, i'd be happy that you came and contributed, no matter how much you gave. edit: it seems like a formal event, so i'd probably go with a suit, and that's coming from a guy who almost never, ever wears suits. you can even go mid-way and wear a matching pants/jacket combo with no tie. ( a less formal suit...i tend to get them at banana republic because they fit well off the rack).
