IMO, anyone putting the majority of blame on Tyrod for last night has a clear agenda against him. The O line was horrendous. Tolbert is not a RB. The defense was garbage. Nobody could tackle. We took a million dumb penalties. Basically, the Bills turned into Rex Ryan's team of the past 2 years... doing their absolute best to beat themselves in all phases of the game. Now, if you were expecting Tyrod to all the sudden become Tom Brady and put the entire team on his back and force a win while the rest of the team was playing like crap, then obviously you're going to be disappointed in TT. That's not who he is. He's a middle of the road starting QB. Sure, he could have done some thing better last night but he was FAR from one of the main issues.

Totally agree. It's funny how some only come on here to post when things aren't going well. That makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't they want to celebrate wins? (to be fair, I'm only talking about a small segment of posters, some that I'd love to call out by name but I won't...). Lol about Rex. I said the same thing during the game last night. It was like Rex was dropped onto the sidelines to coach that game. That was his old Bills team doing everything they could to beat themselves, that's for sure. It was bound to pop up again eventually. The good thing is now Sean gets a chance to correct it. This team has trouble handling prosperity... but again, the good thing is now it's a coachable moment. Like McDermott said, you have to go through adversity to continue growing as a team. If everything just goes perfectly, then they won't be ready when those adverse moments eventually happen. Let's see how this team grows from this game. I have faith in this coaching staff to get it corrected, and quickly. Honestly, I never had any real expectations for this season anyway. I expected it to be a transition year and have been pleasantly surprised so far. The Bills have so many holes and lack depth at many positions. Some of that showed last night, as I figured it would eventually. I still feel very confident that we are headed in the right direction though.

Does anyone else feel like Rex Ryan dropped in to coach the game tonight? These are Rex's Bills right now.

Our o line looks so out of sync tonight. They keep blowing assignments and are just getting manhandled in general. The whole team looks out of sync tonight, defense too. Way too many mistakes, penalties, etc. We are not playing smart tonight. If McDermott can't get it corrected quickly, we are going to lose tonight. I knew All that praise all week was making me nervous for a reason... lol.

We are blowing this game. If we lose, nobody to blame but ourselves. This has all the classic Bills-y signs of a huge letdown game, guys.

They sure are so far. Also, Ducasse is terrible on any bull rush. He just gets pancaked. Wilkerson just made him look silly there.

So happy for Zay! He's really been starting to build some confidence the last couple games. Making some nice caches. Love the Star Wars celebration, too.

Yuck. What an ugly opening drive. Not sure what happened with the O line on Tyrod's sack. I'd have to watch it again but it Maybe looked like someone totally blew their assignment. Wood maybe? Or Ducasse?

Thanks for sharing. That was a great read. I can't believe Rodak wrote it... lol. I'm trying not to get too excited about this team but it's hard. I truly believe we are in good hands for the future, I just didn't expect them to win so much this season with so many perceived holes on the roster. I thought it would take more time. It was midway through year 2 before McD had Carolina's defense playing very good, and then year 3 they really made that leap to top 3 defense in the NFL. I was expecting something similar here... In typical Bills fan fashion, I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop and our lack of (perceived) talent to catch up to us. We have some tough games coming up on the schedule. Hopefully that doesn't happen... Originally, my hopes were not high for this season. But now that has changed pretty drastically. Tonight is an important game, though. A win would go a long way...

He was my #1 choice too, from the minute I seen him on the Bills interview list. I know I've said this multiple times, but I've been a fan of McD's for years. Since about half way through the 2012 season, and then 2013 just cemented it for me. I was amazed at the jump that defense made from 2011 to 2012 to 2013. And what I loved is how he did it with what was considered to be numerous no name players at the time (especially in the secondary). I mean, don't get me wrong that defense definitely had some talent, but many were not necessarily looked at that way at the time. Even Luke Kuechly was seen as a reach at the time he was drafted. Josh Norman was just some 5th round pick that people didn't expect much of anything from. IMO he helped develop those players into what they are today. I remember reading stories about him from many years ago, when he was still in Philly. How Andy Reid took a special interest in him and thought he was going to be something special someday. Reid is one of my all time favorites, so when I heard him say that about McDermott it peaked my interest. We are lucky Carolina went to that Super Bowl in 2015, because I guess Philly really wanted McDermott. The were dead set on hiring an Andy Reid guy and McD was their #1 choice (from what I read). I guess they decided not to wait and hired another Reid guy - Doug Peterson - instead. It seems to have worked out for them. Andy Reid's coaching tree is looking pretty good right now....

I'd love to have a WR like Landry but I'd be worried about him messing with this team chemistry we have going. There are still numerous players on the team that were here for that dirty A. Williams hit.

This was my thought as well. They have sooooo many holes at just about every position on both sides of the ball. A boatload of draft picks has to be enticing. Plus, Garoppolo has been being groomed (by Brady, Belichick, McDaniels etc) to start for the last 4 years. He is probably much more ready to step in and start than any rookie QB from the 2018 class is going to be. And if he works out, they only spent a 2nd on a starting QB as opposed to a #1 or #2 overall pick (plus all the assets they miss out on by not trading the pick). If he doesn't work out, they can still decide to draft a QB high in 2018.

Wasn't there a lot of talk in the offseason that Cleveland went after Garoppolo hard, and even offered the #12 pick in the draft for him? I wondering now if that was all just rumor and BS speculation. Why wouldn't Belichick have taken the 1st? Unless he is truly still bitter about being fired by Cleveland all those years ago and refused to help them at QB (as I've seen speculated by some). But I can't really see him being the type to pass up the #12 pick out of spite. If he did, he's letting his emotion get the best of him.

I have only had the chance to watch him once so far this season. But I've seen the highlights, read the stories and heard what people have been saying and it sounds like he's been pretty impressive. I am one that tries not to judge a QB too quickly. I want to see them in their 3rd (or 4th) year before I make up my mind. We've seen these flashes in the pan before. Once NFL coaches and players have a year (or two) of tape on a QB and have time to study the offense they're running + that QB's tendencies, it can change things. I always like to see how a QB adapts to the adjustments the NFL makes against him. So it's still early to say for sure, but man it looks like I might have been wrong on Watson... On the old BBMB I was pretty adamant before the draft that I wasn't real crazy about the Bills taking Watson at #10. I was fine taking him if we traded down or took him in the 2nd (in hindsight, neither would have been options). I just thought he was a big gamble at #10. There was definitely a lot to like about him but I worried mainly about his accuracy/ball placement, poor numbers under pressure and overall play style. I wasn't too sure how it would translate to the NFL. The early returns sure seem good, though. If he continues this type of play next year I will definitely eat some crow.

Hey Foxx, did you say that you mine bitcoin? What kind of equipment & graphics card are you using to mine bitcoin, if you don't mind me asking? Do you need a ridiculous setup for it to be profitable? Is it even worth trying with a CPU and high end graphics card? Or do you need a FPGA or ASIC? How hard is it to make a profit mining bitcoin these days? I heard it's tougher now. I've been thinking of trying to start mining them myself, but I'm relatively new to all of this. Would I be better off with a different crypto currency? Ethereum maybe? I'd love to get into the bitcoin because they just keep going up...
