He did, and he absolutely benefited from it But you can only play with who you play with, and Florida state had the best recruiting classes in the country at that time, and guess who rose to the top of the depth chart at quarterback for that stacked program EJ Manuel He absolutely deserves credit for winning the job and helping lead his team to victories
