He was talked about being a first round pick because of his tackle play.. his guard play didn't even warrant a top three round pick in all honest He shot up boards because of his athletic play at tackle If he shows he can't do it in the NFL, then make the full transition to guard.. but he absolutely deserves a few seasons of grooming at tackle

Ford is a better prospect than Williams coming out in my opinion. He has 5 years of experience on Ford which helps a lot Ford is a freak athlete at his size, and absolutely has foot quickness to play tackle. Like everything with growing pains, you just need reps and patience His tackle play at Oklahoma was much better than his guard play

I think they're going to do some platooning I still can't see them giving Cody Ford zero tackle reps. It would be pretty stupid to give up on a tackle prospect with that size and athleticism that quick. You could literally find a guard in any round and anywhere in free agency Tackles are a lot harder to develop and find
