  1. By Kyle's 4th year he was absolutely playing at a pro bowl level His third year he really started to be an impact guy I think for an interior lineman year three bearing no injuries is usually the time to break out
  2. What do you think a good kicking game is four for four? Three for four even in the right circumstances could be a good game Not all kicks are equal, and he absolutely booted some clutch kicks It was easily an above average performance When you factor in how much we needed the kicks.. If he made both of them it would have been one of the best performances of all time He's probably going to win special teams player of the week, they don't give that to somebody who performed bad
  3. Tre white might not be playing at an All-Pro level But you have bear goggles on if you think he's been horrible. The dude still doesn't give up touchdowns, and doesn't get beat deep I could literally name 40 outside corners who get beat worse
  4. Bass also had a rough week one. That was by far his worst week Take that week away and his numbers look a lot better He's getting more confidence and has a live leg we literally don't win the game without him yesterday and there's not a kicker we could get that would make those kicks he made from 45 plus out He absolutely deserves credit for his pressure kicking He's going to win special teams player of the week and people are trashing him
  5. I'm pretty sure I said all of that
  6. Exactly It's crazy how people act like the Jets are an actual college football team. Being one of the 32 is one of the most privileged things in any sport And every player is fighting for their job. I will guarantee the Jets will beat another NFL team this season They played hard for 13 minutes. And the bills took over, we just didn't put the ball in the endzone
  7. One of the more hollow 300-yard games you've ever seen? Our offense was moving all day The dude had over 30 completions I've seen hollow 300 yard games where quarterbacks have had 200 yards in the 4th quarter. This was nowhere near a hollow 300 yard game just because drives stalled we're a illlegal formation penalty and Kroft tripping over the 20 yard line away from 370 yards and two touchdowns
  8. Obviously the Jets abandoning the run helped And the first quarter was by far their most successful quarter As they became more predictable, it allowed McDermott and Frazier to get them in the downs and distances that they like And draw up some of the combo coverages that they like to play.. which they seem to have gotten away from for some reason in the first 6 weeks this season McDermott and Frazier have always been good at confusing quarterbacks on third down but has gotten away from it a bit this year
  9. They got back to their MO on 3rd down which is showing dual a gap looks on third down.. playing combination coverages and overload blitzes The first 6 weeks when we've been getting gaseds on 3rd and 15, and even in the first quarter verse the jets we've been playing basic cover four or cover 2 Which is not what Sean McDermott and Frasier have been doing successfully here
  10. Exactly It doesn't matter who the Bills beat . It matters that they get some confidence back , and start playing instead of thinking
  11. I don't disagree with a lot of what you said But I know that every player in the league is talented, and they're all playing for their future. And on any Sunday any team could win This was the opposite of a game the Bills lost for the last 20 years. We would go up 10-0 and then sputter out for the last three quarters We're finally the team taking charge when the game matters
  12. Again I don't think I said they are arrived for the season. Or that everything is fixed. There's a long way to go On this singular day, they had their groove back. Especially in the second half. The Jets best drive of the day was in the first quarter and they were desperate. But the Bills absolutely had their best performance all season I don't care who it came against it's an NFL team, and it's something to build on which is key
  13. Literally some Bills fans don't deserve a winning team lol We won because our kicker kicked six field goals and people want him cut. We held an NFL offense to five passing yards in a half and people are trashing our performance defensively There are only 32 NFL teams in the world and the Jets are one of them, and I'd be willing to bet they don't go 0-16. They're going to beat another NFL team
  14. I don't think anybody is ignoring we beat the Jets. But holding any professional quarterback to 5 yards passing and a half is really good I don't care who you are, that is a successful second half
  15. You do realize one of the definitions of mojo, is just to have an exceptional ability, good luck or success The Bill's defense definitely had their best success in the season in the second half. It Doesn't have to be a year long thing, today it clicked
  16. Holding any professional quarterback to like five passing yards in a half, is an accomplishment Every player on the Jets is playing for their future in the NFL I mean I don't think I crowned anything. They got their mojo back in the second half versus the Jets It doesn't guarantee a future of success, but you need to start somewhere
  17. Well that's why I said it's only the Jets But their scheme and play calling was a lot closer to what we seen the last few years, compared to the last few weeks It's definitely progress
  18. Our defense isn't built for second and 4 The last three years we've been the number one three and out team in the league. McDermott thrives on second and 7 plus , so he can use his combination coverages and disguises
  19. The bills the first few weeks got away from their dual a gap looks and exotic 3rd and long schemes Early in the season they just went to a basic cover 4 which is too simple for the NFL Today you saw his dual a gap disguises a lot more
  20. The second half it seemed that the defense was clicking on all cylinders. So what's the difference between that and the last few weeks? Down and distance When our defense is consistently in second and 3 or Third and short . It really limits what you call defensively McDermott's and Frasier's pressure packages and exotic schemes can't get called in those distances Offenses have taken advantage of nickeling and diming us and getting us out of those packages Today in the second half we got the Jets into second and third and long. Which allowed McDermott and Frasier to get our pressure packages and disguises on the field We've been stuck in 2 and 4 so much that we had little of those opportunities this year that they really haven't even had time to gel when they call those packages Now it's only the Jets, but you can see why fraziers and mcdermotts pressure packages and disguises are very good. We bottle the quarterback up in the pocket, and swallow them up as a whole unit McDermotts scheme doesn't scheme up one pass rusher, it schemes up the whole unit as a whole to collapse the pocket and engulf the quarterback. In the second half the defenses overloads and green dogs confused darnold and had him seeing ghost's This is definitely something you could carry over into next week
  21. It wasn't even a dirty hit and it sucks when players get hurt But it's not even a foul. Maybe in this soft league. But not in football
  22. You can get fitz for like a fifth round pick probably. Maybe a 5th and 6th lol Nobody's trading a second round pick for a 38-year-old Ryan Fitzpatrick
  23. People hating on bass are ridiculous He smoked 4 over 40 yards which is a hell of a day in the nfl. Not to mention 3 were from 53 48 and 46. In a place that's not easy to kick He missed a easy one but he's literally a rookie. College kicking to the NFL is massively different especially with the hash mark differences and upright distances He's had some hiccups but he's starting to drill kicks And he's been great on kickoffs. People are so over reactionary . There isn't a kicker available who would have drilled those four field goals from those distances
  24. Bingo Ravens are basically going into reckless abandon trying to win now Their future after 2 years is definitely up in the air
