  1. Sal has the best jingle in sports!
  2. I have no doubt that McDermott can call a better defensive game than Frazier.. But head coach, coordinator relationships are very unique, and the second there's any strain in them they usually go sour quick McDermott has been good to Frazier since we've been here, and that's probably given Frazier quiet confidence since he got fired as a head coach They both worked and learned under the legend Jim Johnson, and have similar philosophies about the game of football So McDermott definitely has trust in Frazier and his abilities, they don't try putting square pegs into round holes Now they need to take another page out of Jim Johnson's book, and become a little less predictable
  3. This is honestly nothing to do with you shady. I have no problem tagging people that I'm talking about lol I've lots of friends who thinks we've pulled play calling duties from Frazier every time the defense has a less than stellar performance. And think McDermott must be calling the plays when they pick it up I do talk football all day with a magnitude of people not just here
  4. I used to sing this in my history class all the time My teacher really loved me...
  5. It was always burning since the world's been turning
  6. The weather is very fair in Buffalo right now
  7. People literally think that he's taken play calling away from him half a dozen times or something But literally on record it's happened once in 4 years
  8. McDermott has on record only taken over play calling once. And he gave it right back to Frazier After the game What goes on behind closed doors we don't know, but McDermott said he gave Frazier play calling duties right back, and he has never publicly said he took them away again
  9. Yeah first down has been killer all year for us. Also one thing I've noticed, is McDermott and Frazier have not been dialing up dual a gap disguises as frequently as in the past on 3rd down Maybe they're saving them so they're not all on tape But McDermott and Frazier loved showing double a gap looks and then dropping into quarters or man with an occasional overload And he was really good at confusing quarterbacks with it. And it's somewhat disappeared this year
  10. Why does any head coach need coordinators? Because the head coach has way too many things he needs to take care of. And McDermott and Frazier both come from Jim Johnson's lineage, and both run a version of his defense So they both had the same mentor, and both likely see the game very similar So it's probably easy to bounce ideas off each other, and work together on a common game plan It's McDermott's scheme that's getting roasted. No play calling changes will change the fact that his system has been figured out we couldn't get to the quarterback bringing six yesterday. We can't get there bringing four five or six. His blitz packages have been figured out he needs to stop doing the same thing that he's been doing for 4 years on every down Coaches get paid to coach and they figured what him and Frazier do defensively. They need to stop being predictable
  11. I'm not going to lie , to see bojorquez not even attempt to get Laces out , in an NFL game was mind-boggling But this is coming from the same guy who called his own fake field goal pass
  12. It's been solved. McDermott has bluffed cover two shells on first down while playing cover 3 for 4 years. He will also bluff a cover three shell and go to quarters If I know he does that 70% of the time other NFL coaches do He also either press man's, or goes quarter coverage on third down majority of the time. Teams have figured out his tendencies and are now using them against him On third down it's easy to see if he's in press man or a cover 4 look and you can audible to the appropriate play call
  13. To be honest our zone defense has been getting picked apart all season Sometimes you need to rely on your guys jamming wide receivers and disrupting there route Press coverage is the easiest skill for an NFL corner, and you have to believe your defensive line will get home within 15 yards The book is out how to attack McDermott's defense in all situations. They're going to need to rescheme some things McDermott's MO for 4 years has been press coverage on 3rd down and long, not just tonight
  14. That's happened once in four years where it was reported that McDermott took play calling duties for the rest of the game The next week Frazier was back
  15. Frazier isn't the problem McDermotts scheme has been figured out. McDermott needs to adjust his scheme with Frazier Teams know what the bills run on first second and third down, this is the fourth year of the defense on tape. They both need to adjust
  16. I've been scouting football for 30 years He's the best quarterback at that age I've ever seen hands down. if he was draft eligible out of high school somebody would of pulled the trigger in the first round He was making throws at 18 that some NFL quarterback struggle to make
  17. They are so far off the radar I couldn't even find them for 5 minutes LMAO
  18. Fitz has 3 of his 4 best td seasons in Buffalo He was just as good here as he is now he just has better WRs and TEs in miami He was throwing to undrafted Donald Jones and undrafted David Nelson, and undrafted Scott Chandler. Fitz also made Stevie Johnson's career he was the only reason we were in games in that era
  19. Everything else you said is pretty much spot on He has a booming leg, with the consistency of a division 3 punter
  20. Hes had one punt blocked in his career.. Not saying he's great , but he really doesn't get punts blocked regularly. Just once
  21. Hap basically everything you said it's just superstition fitz plays because he goes to teams with mediocre quarterbacks and he can beat them out. He would be a tremendous backup and a hundred times better than Berkley or fromm What rightful starter has he ever taken the job from and never given it back? Even Winston got his job back Fitz would be a great asset to our quarterback room
  22. He's obviously cautiously a skeptic. He definitely can see the change in culture, but there's always that seed of doubt that maybe it's the same He has felt all the ups and downs with the bills over these least 30 some years
