There is not a huge difference between teams Also it comes down to quarterback for UB. They went for Matt Myers last year in the beginning which was a mistake and I knew it, vantrease is better and more steady, but it would probably all come down to how much he improved from last year I could see them winning the MAC championship but being a 3-4 loss team. Honestly 2021 is going to be really good

KSU would've been a hell of a game. Probably tougher than Minnesota in 2017. And they're super physical. Wouldve been rough to pull off but would've been great I don't know if Matt Myers or vantrease could handle that for 4 quarters tho

Would've been really tough to crack the top 25 Especially with Just a all MAC conference schedule. Just not enough firepower on the schedule and they're really good but I don't even know if they could go undefeated in the Mac this season. Maybe a 7-1 6-2 Mac season The Mac is just a league of matchups. And unfortunately you can't match up good against everybody. There's a few teams that could give UB problems I did expect a MAC championship tho when all was said and done Why? I love UB. I've had season tickets since day one The vast majority of the kids can't play in the NFL. Like 99% They have a few NFL players Max. And they probably have 30 seniors and redshirt juniors

When you have good arm strength but nothing crazy, it's a lot easier to reign in that deep ball Russell Wilson is probably the perfect example who has very good arm strength but nothing otherworldly.. he doesn't have to dial in a howitzer, so he just naturally has some better touch Josh is still learning how to reign in that overwhelming arm strength

In hindsight, it wasn't a bad idea, given that we were able to trade back and get Tre which has eased the pain of losing Gilmore You have to also realize that 15 years of ineptitude, really had me questioning if our new regime was right. and at that time I probably would have just rather had Gilmore But now I absolutely trust the regime and they absolutely have had a plan

I never said you said it was a talent thing. There's tons of people who thought Gilmore was a bum here because he didn't smile on draft day And I thought he was one of the best two or three cornerbacks in the world lol

If you want to say we didn't pay him because we were rebuilding, and going in a different direction that's one thing But it certainly was not a talent thing
