Bills interested in CB Steven Nelson

McDermott and co ran man last year on 3rd down at a pretty good clip.. for a zone heaven scheme. he was able to give some different looks as you mentioned He wasn't afraid to man up but it would serve well if we got another corner that can excel in man techniques.. even if he's a package guy Tightening up our zone and getting a better pass rush is more ideal -

Nowhere in the entire article did it mention that the mother had autism I think that was a typo or straight clickbait for sympathy . If it was true you think one of the opening lines would talk about how a woman with a disability was harassed -
Matt Myers coming back.. hopefully a few more A++ hire I'm sold 🤘🤘

Keys to why I believe our coaching staff is successful
Buffalo716 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what is most important that a lot of coaches do not do McDermott always puts our players in the best chance for them to succeed. He turns Jordan Phillips into almost a double-digit sack guy because he put him in the right position Tre has been amazing since day one because he was put in the right situation to succeed Zimmer has flashed in the NFL level because he is in a spot that he's comfortable with It all starts at the top -

I think that all 3 of them still have to learn about in game management with certain situations but that comes with Experience I have no doubt that their preparation is tip top and it starts there -

To keep it simple. They know what they coach and they coach what they know They don't try to do too much and complicate things McDermott is known for his preparation and hard work.. crafting his 43 zone defense from The legend Jim Johnson... Keep contain, hats to the ball, well-timed well executed zone blitz... Do your job... If all 11 people do their job they will have success McDermott's preparation and hard work obviously trickles through the team Leslie Frazier has long been known as a true teacher and developer of talent. His knowledge in the film room is unquestionable, and another Jim Johnson protege who understands what McDermott is trying to do Daboll has been under one of the greatest coaches in NFL history and learned the EP system through belichick and Josh McDaniels.. Another system based on simplicity and the ability to get plays in quicker and change them on the fly.. it is not a set of plays.. but a verbiage system that is easier on the players Our whole staff has a philosophy for football.. how to win on and off the field.. and they stick to the roots and Coach what they know

Gunner can have whatever opinion he wants and he knows I respect it And I maybe mention it maybe once every couple months. And it was to back up the fact that I've seen terrible punting performances over 30 years .. much worse than bojo Not to say nana boo boo I know more than you Let's be real I have no problem admitting im wrong when I am

A player who is 24 his careers half over? If he stays healthy he'll play another 10 years in the league at least

Can one be TOO INTO Buffalo?
Buffalo716 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like my wardrobe 🤣 And yes, yes you can be. I knew I was going overboard when I was buying Buffalo Bills flannels to match my Buffalo Bills zubas and wearing them in public -
He's still getting paid more than over a dozen punters in the league. He might not play there so they're obviously not going to guarantee him anything I can see Los Angeles cutting hekkar if bojo comes to play as I said.
-
I absolutely agree that we need a more consistent punter.. because we are in our window right now Professionals do grow and get better, and I can see bojo being pretty good in two or three years if he works on his shortcomings
-
Gunner , you know I do due diligence and I don't talk out my butt Let's break it down.. the average punt distance from your own 1 to 24 yard line. It's 45 yds... With a bad punt or shank percentage of 30%.. bojo had 3 BAD punts out of 10 in that distance The League average was 30%. 33% is right on par. So strictly average with his percentage of bad punts.. and he also had the longest punt of the year From the 25 to the 49 yard line. The League average was about 40 yards. With a bad punt or shank punt percentage of about 18%.. Bojo was ahead of The League average at 16% Top 5 in Net Inside 20% was very high Then some bad ... Lead league in Touchbacks.. forgot to spin laces three times... Short games inconsistent But when you take it all as a whole.. and then you see his progression from 2019 to 2020.. I think it's clear to say that his trajection is going up And that he performed better than a lot of punters.. 2019 absolutely an adventure.. 2020 was much better
-
Don't think that if he comes into camp looking good that they won't ditch hekkar and his salary And trust me Gunner the only adventure he did was when he tried calling his own fake kick pass. I've been coaching and scouting for 30 years and I've seen plenty of punters do what he do does in the NFL.. be inconsistent punting.. the fake kick was stupid but that's one incident And last year he was way more consistent than he's ever been. And his stats back it... Every punter last year had a 20 yard shank
