  1. No, many very good coaches were not great players. As for booth guys I'm not a fan of many. I disliked Simms but he was a good player. My favorites ,actually, are Chris Collinsworth and Troy Aikman. Tony Romo might be good.
  2. Could care less. They can work like the rest of us. Sick of professional sports money worship. Probably made more than I ever did so tough.
  3. No. Bills worst shape. #1 pick almost ours in next draft. We'll start seeing if our GM has what's needed to build a team from bottom up. This year hopefully seeing whether Allen has what it takes to be franchise quarterback.
  4. Let me guess which camp you're in. I'm in the camp that this team's weak far beyond the quarterback position but Tyrod was better than Peterman, more proven than Allen. By trading McCarron you left yourself,in my mind, weaker than you were. Not in any camp just an opinion.
  5. More talented than the guy they started with. They left themselves with Allen or Peterman. That's a risk when one is new and never had NFL game the other few starts and was terrible aside from a few quarters.
  6. First mistake trading Tyrod. Second mistake keeping Nate. Third mistake trading McCarron. Yeah, they got a handle on this quarterback thing. I hope that the next mistake wasn't drafting Allen. I do truly hope he's our franchise quarterback.
  7. Let me get this straight. You're a tailgating fan who happens to meet at a football stadium.
  8. McDermott has not won me over by any means. Beane same thing. I've been here since the team's inception and I'll hold any positivity and side with a degree of negativity until this organization gives me concrete evidence to convert me to being positive. After all these decades I can't blame anyone for being negative.
  9. Wish I had such an imaginative mind. I just cannot get those visions of Peterman' s inept performances out of my mind. I see so many "fatal flaws".
  10. Don't care to have him but anyone who thinks he wasn't blacklisted well okay.
  11. No laughing matter. Anyone that thinks he's not in the league because he's not talented enough hasn't looked at NFL rosters.
  12. Sad but most of what Bucky and Sully wrote was true. Maybe people didn't care for personalities but what they said was most often true. Rose colored glass fans don't like to hear it true or not.
  13. I certainly hope he is but if he isn't I'd want to know that as soon as possible. Let's not worry more about possibly winning a few more games and delay his development and answering whether or not he's the guy.
  14. It's bad if you're not developing and just trying to win enough to keep jobs. Mediocrity has been this franchise for too long.
  15. Beane and company have lost my confidence to some degree. Possibly Peterman will develop into a adequate quarterback. I understand that winning keeps coaches and GM positions secure. While Peterman may translate into more wins short term (and buy time for coaches and management) I .believe Allen is our franchise Qb or he isn't and let's answer that question as soon as possible. Wins and losses with the team we have now? Only matter to coaches and GM's. We're not a playoff team with Peterman or Allen but a few more wins with Peterman may secure a few jobs.
  16. Okay. Let's reverse this. Why are some fans positive about the Bills? Just asking.
  17. I'd rather lose developing a future quarterback than be mediocre just to remain in the same rut. If Allen's not the future then the future is not on our roster. Go with Allen.
  18. Maybe not vthe worst but pretty bad. Hopefully a development year as team rebuilds. Still think 5-6 wins. Close to bottom.
  19. Definitely development. Last season was an aberration. This team's not built to win yet.
  20. Don't have. Won't pay more than I am now.
  21. That and a gazillion commercials per quarter. The commercials will cause me to stop watching football before anything else.
