  1. In other news, it is unlikely the Pegulas put the Bills up for bid in a silent auction, despite the voices in my head debating whether or not it will happen.
  2. Tough to say for sure, but it's definitely a valid argument. McCown has been pretty solid.
  3. "Life on the Sidelines... For Now"
  4. Love the idea. Wish it had some foundation in reality. He could be a disgustingly wealthy person's Joe Webb.
  5. I hope one of these happens so the retaliation is funneled towards Brady instead.
  6. I haven't read or listened to exactly what he said, but his general position is correct. McDermott's response is symbolic of the Bills consistently bending over and spreading them for the Patriots.
  7. Not that I think McDermott will receive it this way, but if I were the coach, then I see this ruling as incentive to BountyGate all over again. Pull a guy up from the PS, tell him to take out Brady's knees however long after the play, and suffer the (no way it would only be) one game suspension. Open the AFC East right up for a minuscule price. I think we could trudge along without Cap Capi for a game. Edit: ^ Yeah, that!
  8. This is just one example, but I bet the Redskins fanbase is happy they drafted Cousins after RG3. I personally see no problem with hedging our bets with the most important position.
  9. Regardless of whether we have to trade up for a QB, how do people feel about taking 2 QBs in this draft?
  10. Has there been any instance of appeals resulting in higher penalty? Please someone tell me yes.
  11. ^ To avoid quoting whole post, good one BLM. I especially like "Poyer pushed a Pat (sound like a Dr Suess line)" and option (C).
  12. Height is not a complete disqualification. See, inter alia, R. Wilson, D. Brees, A. Rodgers, A. Dalton; https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2015/11/18/nfl-quarterbacks-does-height-matter/76023390/ Look around the league. Asshats are seemingly welcome. My next move after giving up whatever to get whichever QB is deemed the best is to invest heavily in the OL.
  13. Agreed. Need that bell-cow workhorse type. I've made this comparison before: we need to go get the Ingram to our Kamara (McCoy).
  14. Agreed that we likely need to bite the bullet need to move up. But I could see it being for Mayfield. Only thing going against the kid is his height, IMO.
  15. Don't care which one it is - if there is a QB who OBD feels is a franchise guy, then you give up as much as needed to get him.
  16. On the other side of that coin, what would we have lost? Certainly not that game.
  17. "As soon as you let go of my hand, I'm going to get back to what is important... clapping."
  18. OK, let me clarify. I think it's assault, but I do not think anyone who has any power to do anything is going to argue it's assault. Edit: There's also a slippery slope here. How long after the hit until it becomes assault? 1 second? 2 seconds? I wish it weren't the case, but it being on a football field unfortunately makes a practical difference.
  19. It's just not assault. I wish it were, but it's not. It should be more than a 1-game suspension. I wish it will be, but it won't. 100% agree with the poster who said P. Brown should wear panties all week. Pitts, too. "Family"... psh, okay, sure.
  20. Totally thought you meant the discussion took another angle, like point of view, and read the whole thing looking for it. Haha. I see now you were talking about the video... d'oh.
  21. (1) Okay, he brought it up. Did he show emotion? At any point? Nope. McDermott not showing any emotion and Brown and Pitts standing there after White got 265 pounds to the back of his neck shows this team is no "family". (2) Thank you. I didn't think so, but wasn't sure. Bad challenge then.
  22. So... if we go at Brady's knees... it's okay so long as there are words said afterwords that sound kind of like an apology, right?
  23. I'll be disappointed if I don't see a response from the Bills players on the field on 12/24. “This is a close family, it really is,” McCoy stated. “And some guys that I might have known for a year or two years, or I might have known them for two weeks or two months, we kind of have that bond. I don’t want to let the guy next to me down.” Yeah? Well, show me.
