  1. Right, I would think a starting job for 9+ weeks would be more enticing. And I made the assumption that Hoyer, even though unspectacular this year, would start over Hundley who has put up some gaudy numbers. Maybe the Packers want to use this year to see what they have in Hundley, but that makes me question why they would even try to nab him. I just seriously doubt it was to be a back-up to Hundley.
  2. I agree with what you said. I am still surprised an NFL QB passed up a starting job for a back-up job.
  3. Just don't see the Patriots* viewing Hoyer as their heir apparent to Brady. Re: the bold, where are you talking about?
  4. Packers might be invested in Hundley's development, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't start Hoyer this year to try and make a run. They are at 4-3 still and lost the last 2 with Hundley putting up garbage stat lines. Clearly, the situation as back-up to Brady is stable, but I would think a guy would go for a starting job over a back-up job.
  5. Surprised he didn't go to the Packers if that was an open starting job.
  6. Wonder if Denver might be the team. Can't imagine they love starting Osweiler.
  7. ^ Exactly, have him split out wide so they are forced to pay him attention... and then run a draw to McCoy.
  8. Keep him at that price. Good average to above average starter's money. Plus, the rookie will not be making that much his first 4-5 years with the Bills anyways. Between Taylor, Peterman, and a rookie, you're looking at around $20M total invested into the most important position on the team, and that is okay. Taylor is an ideal mentor type QB who can teach the young guy to protect the ball, leadership, and work ethic.
  9. 1 catch, 4 yards, 1 TD
  10. Similarly, no GM admitting he expects there to be a move expected...
  11. If Ayaji went for a 4th, then I'd think Hyde would get similar or better return. Blount has a very similar bruising style, so maybe he is newly available from PHI?
  12. QB, HB, WR, OG, DT, CB
  13. True, but he's got 271 yards this far in the season and just fumbled the game away against us. Tampa is close to Boldin's family. Jacksonville could work too, but I'd prefer an NFC team.
  14. TB has a big #1 and a deep threat. Could use a slot guy.
  15. I'm pretty sure we don't have a 6th or 7th in 2018, so that could he why. Not against it had we made the trade, but logistically it could have been a hang-up. Plus, we just got Matthews back and Thompson looked pretty good.
  16. Of all the 11s, he does look a little like Bledsoe trying to play WR... Honestly not worried about him. He's got the talent, mindset, and drive.
  17. I like that Deonte Thompson had the game he had and OBD immediately dropped the now redundant Kaelin Clay. I also like: "TT to DT for the TD!"
  18. Ask Leodis McKelvin. Edit: Dude could be in a guy's pocket and miss his play on the ball.
  19. Wouldn't mind a switch to an audio mix of a stampede and buffalo grunts.
  20. This is fun to say quickly: "Get Sammy Seamster up to speed, sir!"
  21. I don't care if we run a jumbo goal line package every play, just please incorporate even more play action bootlegs into it.
  22. Groy played a decent amount of G in college. But using that logic, he also logged a couple starts at FB in 2010, so... Despite his lack of NFL play at G, I would not be opposed to at least adding him to the Miller v. Ducasse competition.
