  1. Of all the 11s, he does look a little like Bledsoe trying to play WR... Honestly not worried about him. He's got the talent, mindset, and drive.
  2. I like that Deonte Thompson had the game he had and OBD immediately dropped the now redundant Kaelin Clay. I also like: "TT to DT for the TD!"
  3. Ask Leodis McKelvin. Edit: Dude could be in a guy's pocket and miss his play on the ball.
  4. Wouldn't mind a switch to an audio mix of a stampede and buffalo grunts.
  5. This is fun to say quickly: "Get Sammy Seamster up to speed, sir!"
  6. I don't care if we run a jumbo goal line package every play, just please incorporate even more play action bootlegs into it.
  7. Groy played a decent amount of G in college. But using that logic, he also logged a couple starts at FB in 2010, so... Despite his lack of NFL play at G, I would not be opposed to at least adding him to the Miller v. Ducasse competition.
  8. Cooper would finally show up for my fantasy squad now that I, at 1-5, am taking on the only team worse than me, at 0-5-1.
  9. Can you believe 7/11 charges for Slurpees on the other 364 days of the year? Boycott!
  10. Tough to say always given the extremely productive rookie WRs who have come out the past few years.
  11. ^yolo Agreed that it is tough to find team-first guys in the current CFB culture. I'm glad we're adding more of the breathe-eat-sleep types. Put your head down, get your job done, and have the next guy's back.
  12. Grew up listening to the Hip. They are, if not my favorite, then easily a top 3 all-time band. Gord is my favorite front-man, and I don't think that will ever change. He put on these amazing shows that were pretty much the product of sheer effort. This was obvious because the guy would be sweating head-to-toe about halfway through the first song. Saw him do a sit-down acoustic song/spoken poetry set at the Adam's Mark for an environmental conference, and he was the same guy, just his effort was evident in the emotion of his voice, rather than being drenched in sweat. He clearly cared for the marginalized. I get the crowd of the "why are you upset over a musician you never met?" mindset, but at the same time, this guy definitely had a huge impact on my life through his music and approach to art.
  13. It seems to be an inexact science - whether character guys will truly lead to a better winning culture - but you really gotta love the way White approaches the game.
  14. I remember going to a game and seeing a Vick-led Falcons team versus what was at the time I think a good Bills defense. What left an impression with me with Vick was not his legs, but (1) how much bigger he looked in the pocket than I expected and (2) that he climbed the pocket and threw the ball with authority, zip, and accuracy. I get that his throwing stats are pretty similar to Taylor's, but I think Vick was an underrated pocket passer.
  15. Groy is still alive, yes? I know back-up C is hugely important, but...
  16. I'd be happy with losing the next 3 games and then winning out.
  17. Perfect plan - how do you cover someone who is invisible?
  18. Believe he was under the impression that the role was for an entirely different movie (maybe one involving that president?) when he accepted it. Gotta love a picture of one of my favorite people of all time wearing a Bills hat.
  19. W: TB L: OAK W: @NYJ W: NO W: @LAC L: @KC L: NE W: IND W: MIA L: @NE W: @MIA Win the last game, on the road, against a division opponent, to improve to 10-6 and snatch that playoff berth.
  20. Duuuuuuuuude, stats and facts? That's all you can back up that point with? What about the eye test?
  21. Does anyone know why Ronnie Hillman is still at home?
  22. If we're doing this, then I'd rather we just blow up the phones belonging to DeAngelo Williams, who was in CAR with McDermott, or Ronnie Hillman, who played for Dennison in DEN, *EDIT* and also was the odd man out in a DAL backfield that has McFadden as a healthy scratch.
  23. He strikes me as a Mark Campbell type. And to me that's a compliment because that guy was solid and hung onto the ball no matter how hard the hit.
