  1. Gotta hope McDermott is going to know how to attack and take advantage of those young CBs they trial-by-fire'd last year.
  2. Kaelin Clay can go deep. Also, re: needing a better TE2, I've thought O'Leary has been pretty solid so far.
  3. I'm assuming you don't count REC yards for this though... yeah Hunt still takes it.
  4. Dunno who that is on the 5 yard line towards the bottom of the picture, but he seems pretty open too. Maybe there's another defender out of frame.
  5. I feel like if Rex starts rubbing off (unfortunately have to clarify: figuratively) on his co-workers, then we're going to start seeing them coming back from commercial break with too few camera operators and someone's shoes missing.
  6. McCaffrey & Stewart v. McCoy & Tolbert I'm looking forward to it.
  7. Won't wow anyone stat-sheet-wise, but thought those couple of times Taylor slid in bounds towards the end of the game showed great understanding and awareness of the situation. QB stuff.
  8. I think it's still very much a game, but just that CAR has a clear edge. They were in the Super Bowl two years ago after going 15-1. Their weak division produced the NFC Super Bowl team that almost won it all. Their QB has won OROTY and OPOTY. Their ILB has won DROTY and DPOTY. Their coach has won COTY twice. And, home crowd intensity aside, home field advantage is still a thing. They're a good team with a lot of talent. They also took care of their Week One "gimme" a bit more handily than we did. Vegas favors them, albeit slightly. I think we can beat them. I just think they have a higher probability to win.
  9. CAR will likely be a loss, but their offense and Newton specifically looked rusty. Never know. DEN will be tough, but at home and they don't have much in the way of a QB. Good scouting for tonight. ATL looked anything but unbeatable versus CHI, so again we could pull it off. NFC South familiarity for McDermott. CIN looks very beatable. Shut out by so-so BAL team at home. 2-2 is not out of the question and is a realistic outcome for the next 4.
  10. Watch us beat the Panthers and Falcons, but lose to the Broncos and Bengals.
  11. "What is today, but yesterday's tomorrow?" - Mr. Krabs
  12. Is this challenge-able?
  13. My guess: Jets a mess. Big day for Shady, Clay, Zay Bigger still? Sean's D.
  14. I second that and say it goes to O'Leary.
  15. Jordan Matthews (chest) is practicing in full for Week 1. This puts J-Matt on track to suit up Sunday against the Jets. Matthews has an excellent chance to lead the Bills in targets this year, though we'd expect Buffalo to use a run-heavy scheme featuring workhorse LeSean McCoy. Sep 6 - 4:10 PM http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nfl/9420/jordan-matthews Edit: Available for the regular season. Like he has been 96% of the time over 3 years.
  16. I personally subscribe to the theory that they just kept him to the pocket so he could work on that during the preseason and plan to move him around much more during the regular season. But yeah, I don't think his height is ideal for passing from the pocket. Taylor at 6'3" would be better for sure, but I don't think his current height completely prevents him from effective pocket passing.
  17. Just re: Taylor's running and associated injuries, I have noticed him be very aware of his surroundings when he scrambles. His head is usually on a swivel and he has the quickness to make a cut out of bounds or go down before significant contact. That's what I've seen most of the time. Really hope Dennison gets him on the move early and often this season.
  18. Watkins has played in 77% of his games. Matthews has played in 96% of his games.
  19. Still should have tendered him higher.
  20. How well he fares could... could have just a bit to do with how well our offensive line plays. Enter Karlos. Enter TD Mike. Enter Rattlesnake Joe. It's all gravy.
  21. Most of them suck. Honestly, cannot think of one who I really like more than dislike. I do, seemingly unlike most, really like and enjoy the WGR shows. I know they get a bad rap, but try effectively having your job be a baby of the movie Groundhog Day and the Buffalo Bills. The fact that they aren't committed to an institution by now is impressive alone. I think they're generally pretty funny and have a fair, balanced view.
