  1. I'd chalk it up to finding his footing (and hands) while adjusting to the NFL speed. The kid's best attribute all through college, if not his route running, was his hands. I'm not worried. Still, that slant off his hands was pretty bad. That gets caught by a Bronco defender instead of Holmes and Jones could very well be in discussion for being the goat of the game 2 weeks in a row.
  2. I mean, I know the NFL is becoming more and more about entertainment every day, but not so sure acting genes are all that helpful...
  3. I'll go slightly than one of the posters and say: another good backup HB and another solid yet unspectacular WR.
  4. Non-premium, 3 rounds: 1: R1P9 - OT MIKE MCGLINCHEY NOTRE DAME 2: R1P28 - QB MASON RUDOLPH OKLAHOMA STATE 3: R2P6 - WR DEON CAIN CLEMSON 4: R2P9 - DL DA'RON PAYNE ALABAMA 5: R3P9 - TE MARK ANDREWS OKLAHOMA 6: R3P22 - CB CARLTON DAVIS AUBURN
  5. Is anyone not cool with changing the thread name to "Sammy Watch-kins"? Mods?
  6. Hopefully they do not have to trade up for their guy and can add 1 or 2 top 100 players at WR and TE. Throwing to Matthews, Jones, Top 100 Rookie, Clay, O'Leary, Top 100 Rookie would not be bad.
  7. Exactly. We get our young guy in the Spring (and more than likely add his go-to target(s)) and everyone will be "Sammy Who-kins?"
  8. Re: sensor technology, has anyone wondered why the footballs, pylons, and heck even yard lines on the field don't have chips in them so we can accurately map where the ball traveled? Would never have to second guess where the refs place the ball.
  9. Does Andy Reid come with him?
  10. No reason to think Matthews, Jones, and Holmes are unable to run down field. Are they Tyreek Hill, Marquise Goodwin, and JJ Nelson? No, but they still have enough giddy-up.
  11. Agree with bold, and would add misdirection and draw plays.
  12. Hoping they take 2 QBs with our 6 picks in the top 100 and restructure Taylor and give Peterman a legit shot at competing.
  13. Throwing guys open, to me, means throwing the ball to a spot on the route where the WR will be. Obviously if it is a broken play or option route, that changes.
  14. How many QBs during the drought made audibles at the line? Bledsoe? Orton?
  15. Buy: In Sell: Out Hold: Your Horses Actually though, Poyer, Dennison, and Dawkins. In that order. Sir.
  16. I do not think the general consensus supports the notion that Jones was running an option route on the last play. I also don't think Jones adjusted or should adjust his route, if it was supposed to go to the pylon, to go to the yard line. That would not make sense given situational football. If you don't want to hear something, then don't listen. But I haven't harped on the issue of throwing guys open, even though it is clear TT has struggled with it.
  17. Gotta pull for the Domer. He had over 100 tackles and 2-3 turnovers in 2014.
  18. 716. Riverworks. Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. Cantina Loco if you're looking for Mexican food. If you need booze, you won't find a funnier named store than Beaver Liquors on Niagara.
  19. I don't want our QB, Taylor or not, throwing to where he thinks the WR might run the route. I want him throwing it to where the route was designed to be run.
  20. That would be a crazy sneaky move. I'd like it, even though I don't care that we parted ways with him.
  21. I heard a certain floor mat familiar with Kevin Kolb was seen lurking on the Bills sideline...
  22. Great breakdown, as per the usual, so thank you! Really wish we had some way to know what the intended play calls were for a few of these. It's been discussed ad naseum, but would love to know, e.g., which route Zay Jones was supposed to run on the last play of the game, whether that proves he ran the correct or incorrect route. Sucks we have to speculate on plays like that as far as attempting to assign blame to see who is and who is not doing their job.
