  1. I think everyone can acknowledge a couple things- 1. Prescott has shown more capability as an NFL QB than has Allen at this point in their respective careers 2. Both suffered from offensive issues re receivers dropping their passes last season 3. It's reasonable to assume Allen's potential trajectory and conclude that plus his current salary makes such a trade unappealing
  2. I watched him plenty. Doesn’t wash, go check Bears game again If he was as great as ^^^he’d be locked up already
  3. The Cowboys also threw the ball 84 more times than the Bills. It's drops/attempt that matters, not total drops
  4. Dak had drops no question, not to the extent Allen did but they certainly mattere
  5. I think you have to qualify this as plays as well as Dak did in 2019 statistically, I mean the guy just piled on the garbage time stats and folded when they needed plays made practically all season.
  6. I have a feeling your list will age very poorly over the course of this season.
  7. Yeh there's a balance to be struck no doubt, but we ARE difficult to move the ball against on the ground, at least situationally. When we have the playcall in and the right personnel and we're dictating the game to the offense it's hard to run on us. The one game we suffered was vs Eagles and we were a mess along the dline w cohesion plus injuries. Overall my point is if you're going to build a Super Bowl caliber defense, build it to stop the pass and the rest will follow.
  8. Sort of a larger topic, but run defense is largely overrated nowadays. Re:Edmunds, he is the future of the game @MLB and I'm pretty confident is going to have a breakout season. I hope he improves his reads but as far as 'run defense' being a reason to move him 'outside'...hard pass. Who were the best defenses in the league last year? I'd say it's some ranking of (in any order) the Patriots, Bills, Niners, Steelers, Ravens as the top 5. Of those 5, only the Steelers had what you could consider a good run defense- they gave up 3.8ypa which was good for 3rd in the league. The rest? 17th, 19th, 23rd, and 21st respectively in terms of yards per carry defensively.
  9. I’m glad we’re on the same page
  10. It’s like barely a question tbh
  11. Yep just another one
  12. Deflect. Accept or decline.
  13. So you’re accepting the wager?
  14. As suspected moving on
  15. Here- $1k that Allen has more passing yards, total TDs, AND higher ANY/A than Watson in 2020. Put some skin in the game or pipe down
  16. TDs per game! TEARS
  17. I'm sorry I cannot be bothered to address your big reveal about how offensive production suffers when the starting QB goes down lmfao Oh Watson improved on what luminaries Brock Osweiler and Tom Savage had done previous, he's CLEARLY a top5 QB
  18. The only one embarrassing themself is you. If the bolded is what you consider your evidence, it's laughable. QB wins? Lol I'll save you the effort, I could not possibly care less about how many games a team happens to win in a given year in relation to how it informs QB play. I am FIRST to say Diggs will make Allen better. I HAVE been consistent in how I view Diggs and Hopkins for that matter. Likewise, I suppose when Allen puts up better stats and the Bills win more games than the Texans next season you'll concede he's the 'better' QB than Watson? I probably already proposed the Allen/Watson wager to you and I'm assuming you declined. If you have the courage of your convictions I will offer it again.
  19. You’re deflecting. And I didn’t feel embarrassed at all watching Allen play Houston...if I had I’d find something else to spend my time on but that’s just me personally.
  20. Lmfao Watson The man Deandre Hopkins built Too funny
  21. Do you understand the concept of a trade? It’s not just swapping players
  22. Yes let’s pay an average starter top$$ plus picks instead of a promising 3rd year guy on rookie scale. Genius
  23. I would literally only do it for mahomes
