Yes and it wasn't just that they trolled the song, I think some of the guys after the game said McD had played it during practices and walkthroughs that week in preparation. It was overall a great win and there's no need to knock it imo.
I don't think Chiefs win the SB or even get there w/out Mathieu, Berry was old and he revitalized that defense although I credit his run support as much as his pass defense chops
That’s true. I still think the Steelers were a much better coached, way more cohesive unit when we beat them than were the Cowboys. Neither of them were great teams top to bottom but the Pitt game was far more significant imo.
Yes to your point that neither party has claim to the moral high ground re: concrete improvement of minority rights. Also agree and said initially that there are folk of all races and creeds (not to mention sexual orientation etc) that were/are marginalized, I just don't think trying to figure out who is more oppressed is worth much discussion because it clouds the issue and isn't really the point wrt civil rights.
I still say that was the biggest win for this franchise in a decade+. Dallas was nice but Pitt was crucial. Showed me that the team had digested the process and McD and Co were for real.
You could start by referencing a 'collectivist' doctrine that advocates someone earning more shares for less effort. Actually I'll spare you the time- you'll find it under the 'individualist' subsection.
The vast majority of immigrant populations in our country have faced discrimination to varying degrees, not to mention the indigenous peoples. But to try to compare the extent to which they have suffered from it is to miss the point, imo.
