I think there's value in appreciating the historical significance of certain institutions without demanding their legacies be trumpeted in the present. -

I don't think many reasonable people would object to the idea that the word 'redskin' be subject to greater scrutiny. -

Imagine for a second the pride that some people feel in these names isn't the same emotion shared by everyone when they hear them. -

Right. Like how after the 19th amendment was passed only women could vote. -

May I suggest you invest a bit of your time and patience to realize that 'All Lives Matter' is in response to and created in opposition of 'Black Lives Matter' as a general principle. -

Interesting. What's your take on racism, which is what 'cancel culture' in this instance is being applied as a response? -
I always do. Rain or shine. Parking lots are hazardous enough. People who can't be bothered to take 2 minutes to return their shopping cart and leave it to roam around the lot dinging other people's cars and getting in the way are the worst.

Does this 'cancel culture' you speak of also go by the name 'vote with your dollars'? -
I’d encourage everyone to give the article in question a close read. IMO Barnwell’s analysis does not pass muster.

Between Brown and Beasley neither are going to win a physical battle and get wide open. That's why having a guy like Diggs will open up the offense a ton. Brown wins on speed and Beasley on quickness but neither is going to beat solid man coverage consistently because they aren't strong enough. Brown's route vs Peters against Baltimore at the end of the game is a good example. They aren't physical enough to get leverage on DBs. That's a drag on completion percentage.

Not to mention he was also shipped out for pennies on the dollar due to friction with the HC/GM...bad comparison imo.

Weren’t the Bills near top of the league in 3rd and 8+ last season?

Allen is at least attempting to be a quarterback. Taylor never did.

First off completion% isn't really related to QB accuracy. It's more of a general offensive metric that's as dependent on things like system and pass catchers as it is on how accurately the QB delivers the ball. It just gets applied to quarterbacks. Second there are a bunch of examples of QBs raising their comp% over the course of their careers, especially as it relates to their early seasons vs as they mature, get a better feel for the game, etc. Eli Manning was a 55.5% thrower his first 3 years in the league and finished his career a 60% guy. Matt Ryan's first 3 years put him at 60.6% and he ended up a career 65.4% thrower. Brees the accuracy dude was 61.3% through three years and now sits at a ridiculous 67.6% career completions. Did the game 'slow down' for them (and many other quarterbacks whose comp% shows similar trajectory as they age?) and allow them to complete a higher percentage of passes? Yes. Did an influx of offensive talent at receiver tend to raise completion% as they were picked up in draft/FA? Yes. Does an improved offensive line correlate to a higher comp% (yes), or a system (existing or implemented later) that features a pass catching RB mean that QB will tend to have a higher comp%? (again yes). Saying QBs don't improve their completion percentage over time is wrong. Acting like comp% is a measure of accuracy is dumb.

Agree w all of this except Wilson imo is closer to the Brady/Brees group wrt throwing...he's for the most part a one platform guy. His legs are tree trunks so he gets a ton of power but still mostly that open shoulder overhand delivery. Freaky arms Mahomes, Rodgers, in terms of being able to deliver accurately from all angles Allen's throwing is closer to them but clearly still needs work on his base. The two throws to Beasley vs Dallas and Baltimore are those kinds of deliveries.
