So about this (I assume we're talking about the AP NFL CotY): unless you think 8-8 wins the AFCE, this would be lighting your money on fire as iirc every AP CotY for the last 20 years has been a division winner. Belichick has won the title three times, second to only Don Shula with 4. If you're a Bills fan, McDermott CotY+ BUF AFCE champs is a no brainer parlay. I'd spread some out on other likely division winners...just for value's sake I like Gruden +4000, McVay +2800, Tomlin +2800. Hate Stefanski because as mentioned I don't think Browns are close to winning their division, Reich, Flores

You said you don’t consider 2/3 playoff years ‘much of an accomplishment’. With respect to the recent Bills history you referenced I suggested your standards for accomplishment might be a little too high.

He signed for what was a completely reasonable ask- more APY than Matt Ryan who happened to play for a divisional rival. The original question was someone asking if anyone could think of a QB who gave his team a discount on a second contract and that's Newton. Gettleman's said it, Panthers fans acknowledge it also.

Panthers fans will tell you he wanted to stay in Carolina and took the deal they offered when he could have made more elsewhere, yes.

He came off a year he was injured a bunch and broke his back in a car wreck, yes. But he gave the Panthers a deal and the proof is how he went out and put together an MVP season immediately after getting paid when he could have taken more elsewhere.

Darnold has alternated between bad and good, but when he plays well he has shown a level Allen hasn't reached yet as a passer. Needs to limit the back breaking INT tho to really justify separating the two by a meaningful stretch.
