  1. Fixed it for you. Even though they didn’t make the playoffs last season (one win away), they were widely considered to be one of if not the most fun to watch teams.
  2. I agree with your top 2 points for sure. While some may be overrating Hopkins, I do think he is still a high quality receiver. He had 717 yards last year (which would make him an average #2), but that was in only 9 games, which paces out to 1354 yards which would have been 8th in the league. He may not be a top 10 receiver next year, but I’d expect him to be somwhere in the top 5-25, combine that with Diggs and a revamped Oline and we would give defenses fits. As for Gabe Davis, he is a UFA after this season, so we will not be able to trade him this offseason without extension. He is on a cheap contract for us right now, and even if we signed Hopkins and he were on the bench, it would be difficult to get depth of his caliber that cheap, and having Davis will help keep Diggs/Hopkins fresh. Also because Davis’ contract is expiring after this season, any team paying for him likely is trying to make a push and we would be helping a team that we may have to face come playoffs, and they would likely want to give futures.
  3. If this was an argument for greatest career, Hasek wins in a landslide. Despite a late start to his NHL career, Hasek won 6 best goalie awards, 2 MVPs, 2 player voted MVPs, and 2 cups. His career average save percentage still would have been 6th in 1998-1999 which is ridiculous for Goalies who tend to be inconsistent. He has the 5 highest single season save percentages in the 90s. He is considered one of the best goalies of all time, if not the best, depending on who you ask. (the Athletic recently called him the top goalie of all time), whereas OJ really isn’t considered top 5 ( a quick look at different running back rankings puts him at 7-12.) A single season does perhaps change things though. Hasek’s 1998-1999 season was ridiculous, getting the Vezina, and carrying his team on his back to the finals. That Sabres team without Hasek was average at best, and he made them a much greater team. The bills for OJ’s big year did have an excellent offensive line which gave him a lot of help to get those numbers. OJ took that team from bad to average, whereas Hasek took the team from Bad/Average to contender. That gives him a slight edge in my book. Hasek’s 1998-1999 season is 5th all time in goalie save percentage, in an era when scoring was up and saving was down. It’s a tough contest to call, but I think I’d go with Hasek.
  4. I think a younger Brady would be very good in that offense. Brady on the slant game was very dangerous and having 2 speedsters to run those could be quite scary. But as others have said, Brady at this point is about as threatening as a journeyman Qb at this point.
  5. Pretty sure it’s decided before the Super Bowl.
  6. The only team the bold applies to is the Ravens. Regardless of who won the bills/bengals game, Chiefs still need a win to secure 1/2 seed. (Bengals win, chiefs just need a win for 1 seed, bills win, Chiefs need a win for 2 seed or win and bills loss for 2 seed)The Bengals-ravens game only matters if bills beat the bengals, but that is the only game where the outcome of bills/bengals could make it meaningless.
  7. Is it good for the QB market? Any chance QBs see Watson/Wilson failing hard and saying they deserve to be paid more than those bums?
  8. If we assume this to be true, doesn’t mean he’s not done. Maybe the 7th would be the one hes worried about “doing him in” I do expect him to return though.
  9. Okay, Allen has more passing yards, but has a lower YPA (7.6 compared to 8.2) . Allen may have 1 more total touchdown, but Hurts only had 5 turnovers on the season, 11 Less than Allen. Allen does have an edge in yards/rush attempt (6.5 to 4.8). IMO, the only reason Allen could win is if people think the roster difference between the eagles and bills is giant. I think the 11 more turnovers makes it very hard to vote for Allen.
  10. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the 1 seed play the lowest seeded remaining team? So couldn’t it also be the 6 or 7 if they get the upset?
  11. Pats can still take the division if the Bills lose out and the Pats* win out.
  12. Why? The Dolphins were out of timeouts and the difference of 2 yards for the field goal really didn’t make a difference.
  13. Agholor gets a bad rep (ask any eagles fan about him) but definitely earned my respect there.
  14. Bills may have better star power in JA and Diggs than Dak and Lamb, but you’re discounting the rest of their team a good amount. Micah Parsons matches up favorably with Von Miller at this point in their careers. The Dallas offensive line is a good bit better than ours. Their run game is much better, Ezekiel Elliot and Pollard >>>>>>> Singleterry and Cook. They are also 9-3 despite playing a backup QB for 5 games. If Case Keenum started 5 games, would the Bills be 9-3 right now?
  15. Andy Reid hasn’t had a single losing season since he started coaching Kansas City in 2013. That was 5 seasons before Mahomes started for them.
  16. Keep in mind though, Hill is doing that with Tua/backups as his QB, whereas Diggs has Allen.
  17. I mean, he darn well should. He called it to a T pretty much, if you switched the tenses In the phrasing, I would have thought it was a game review.
  18. If you are on the roster, you get the per game bonuses.
  19. Maybe it was horrible, and stand-alone it’s a pretty bad sequence of events. But Maybe they get a franchise QB from the pick next year and it ends up working out for them. Many people said similar things when the bills traded the pick where Pat Mahomes was taken, until Allen proved himself in this league, and the trade looks like a win for both parties now. My point isn’t that the trade resulting from picking Chubb at 5 will beat out on drafting Allen at 5, but the story has not been fully written yet. Also, there have been many worse returns than a 1st after 4 years of play for a top 5 pick. Take Baker Mayfield from the same draft, who went 1 OA, then traded him for scraps to Carolina.
  20. Generally, I think of the win as the best part of jets week.
  21. Titans have won 5 straight and their 2 losses have been to a 6-2 and a 6-1 team. At least as impressive as Dallas’s 2 losses to a 7-0 and a 3-5 team. San Fransisco is 4-4 and got blown out by 21 points in week 7, does the at sound like a Super Bowl team? Or any more than the 4-3 bengals who made the Super Bowl are?
  22. Titans could surprise, Derrick Henry has been getting 100+ yards each week and the titans are 4-0 since they faced the Bills. The Chiefs defense is also weak against the run, if they don’t let the chiefs get an early lead, it could be a tight game.
  23. Daquan Jones has been playing like a monster, I remember after the chiefs game that of all DTs he was getting double teamed the most, and still had a top 5 pass rush win rate among DTs. Along with that, our run defense has improved to being currently the best in the league. That is indicative of good line play.
  24. I think if you’re picking 3 WR, I think I would go Diggs, Chase, and Adams. Diggs for my chain mover, Chase for the big play threat, and Adams for catching TDS. They each can do all 3, but each is probably a bit better than the others in those facets. Hill and Chase fill the same role, so I would probably be picking between them.
