April Fools: Bills trade up with Giants!!
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's you and your buddy taking those who called for him to be banned and/or looked as though it offended them when frankly, I read through those posts and saw it as joking with the joker. that said, the joke is on you two. -

Are We a Playoff Team with A.J. ?
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Seventeen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
who really cares if he wasn't in demand? the bills picked him up for what they must of felt was a good reason and not solely based on the size of his contract. trying to belittle his opportunity because other teams did not pick him up, is irrelevant since he is now a buffalo bill with an opportunity ahead of him. rather than find every reason why he shouldn't be the starter, I instead will pull for him in hopes he succeeds? -

Are We a Playoff Team with A.J. ?

what's funny, is he doesn't know it all. sure, McCarron signed for back up money but I'm looking at it as he did so knowing he has a chance at the starter position and could do well enough to remain the starter while (1-2 seasons) grooming the rookie? then when rookie is ready to take the reins he may have gained some good trade value and have another chance to start elsewhere for better money? it's easier for some to look at the dark side rather then the bright side but the fact is he, like his predecessor, sat on the bench for 4 (5) years and then was given an opportunity with a new team to prove himself. my gut tells me he will fare much better than said predecessor? I'd take the opinion of a coach to heart more thren some message board know it all, any day of the week. Buffalo's getting a winner,' NFL coach says of AJ McCarron "I think Buffalo's getting a winner," The Buffalo Bills' acquisition of quarterback AJ McCarron in free agency has the stamp of approval from at least two NFL coaches. Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis called McCarron "a joy to coach" and "an uplifting player" while with the Bengals. "He's what you want, you know?" Lewis told the Buffalo News about McCarron at the NFL's annual meeting this week. "You want a guy who always feels he's better than he is. That's part of being a quarterback in the NFL. You've got to have that kind of self-confidence where, when you walk into that huddle or that meeting room, everyone feels good about you. ... "AJ's always been a really confident player in himself and his abilities. He's had a great deal of success, and he believes that he will always continue to have success. That's part of him." "I think Buffalo's getting a winner," Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson told the Buffalo News, "a guy that will come early, stay late, work extremely hard, loves football, loves winning more than losing, can't stand to lose. He knows how to elevate his teammates." Jackson served as Cincinnati's offensive coordinator during McCarron's first two NFL seasons. -

I assume you mean this guy? Benjamin Allbright https://twitter.com/allbrightnfl?lang=en if it was worthless, why even take it? again, if worthless, it must mean no team/scout/gm/hc look at the 47 as any better or worse than a 13? or better yet, don't look at it at all and are more interested in their ability on the field as well as how much can be absorbed in the mental game? -

13 is kinda low there. but seeing many experts here on the importance of score, no need to praise those who scored high anymore than to mock those scoring low. as they say in this century, amirite? 13 -

If we draft Mayfield or Jackson...im done

Peter Schrager mock draft 2.0: Bills trade up for Baker Mayfield Lamar Jackson to the Saints? PICK 6 PROJECTED TRADE WITH COLTS. What would it take for the Bills to move into this spot? I think picks 12 and 22 for the sixth overall choice would be a fair swap. Buffalo gets a QB, Indianapolis gets yet another pick in the first two rounds, and both teams can build, build, build. PICK 27 I still love this fit. Jackson could serve as one of Drew Brees' understudies, learn the position from one of the best, be groomed by one of the greatest offensive minds in the game in Sean Payton, and potentially still contribute as he develops. -
