  1. hindsight may make one believe they can predict the future but wouldn't it be best to allow it to play out rather then considering it inevitable? so far this regime has picked up some decent players, ended the drought and have one hell of an opportunity in just a few weeks to add even more and until I see them go 4-12, 6-10, 7-9 and fall flat, I'm believing they're on the rise to contention. if not, a drag yes but why think about the drag, that has yet to happen? jmo of course.
  2. he is gone, that's good news. I thought this was a McCarron thread?
  3. it will send many off the deep end, which frankly could be very entertaining.
  4. absolutely OP!!! I'm already planning a 4 month hiatus from the game if it comes to pass.
  5. 2018 NFL Draft report: Josh Allen is the QB that Buffalo Bills are most interested in, but why? Are you on board with the the Bills drafting the big, former Wyoming passer? According to Denver-based NFL journalist Benjamin Allbright, the Buffalo Bills have shared with several people that Allen is the quarterback that they’re targeting. Additionally, Allbright says that one of his sources that informed him about the Bills interest in Allen also told him last year that the team was going after Nathan Peterman in last year’s draft, who of course is now on the Bills’ roster. Why the Bills should be enticed by Allen Besides Wentz, Allen could be the next Andrew Luck or Ben Roethlisberger - a big strapping passer to whom teams can feel comfortable handing over the keys to the franchise. For as much talk as there is about Allen potentially being taken No. 1 overall, there’s nearly as much chatter about him sliding a bit because of his stats, which gives the Bills a pretty good chance at landing the QB should they find a way to move into the top 5 of the draft order like it’s expected that they desire to. Why Allen should scare the them After finally returning to the playoffs after 17 years, it doesn’t seem like now is the ideal time for the Bills to take on a developmental project at quarterback, especially with AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterman as the only other quarterbacks on their roster. Furthermore, It doesn’t make sense for the Bills to have just traded away a steady performer in Tyrod Taylor just to then turn around and draft one of, if not this year’s biggest, boom-or-bust QB prospects.
  6. see anything here? https://www.google.com/search?q=josh+allen&tbm=nws&source=univ&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjZndmdnJzaAhVJL6wKHYp8BMcQt8YBCDcoAQ&biw=681&bih=617 https://twitter.com/SI_PeterKing?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^news|twgr^author
  7. quick to have his back? no, just seeing some who, as your reply indicates, may feel based off his posts, they're a better person then he is. thanks for the reply. I can see how one could describe ones character based off a post but a message board really can be deceiving. you can sometimes overlook sarcasm and other possible misleading character signs. I'm not trying to defend Joe by any means, just an observation of those who tend to place themselves higher then him with the descriptions they give of how they see him as a person. at the end of the day, don't take everything your read at face value as you really don't know if he lives in his moms basement anymore then you know he lives in a mansion?
  8. again, I have seen two describe him. yet when asked to describe ones self, the other has yet to respond so I ask you as I am very curious to know when one can describe how he/she sees said (Joe) poster, I would like to know how you would describe yourself? you don't need to include the good book or pews as I tend to overlook that.
  9. you must of missed my post. I'm waiting for a good logical reply, if possible?
  10. now that you have described him, can you describe yourself? I'd be curious how a better than thou describes ones self? edit: also, is your above post considered "of value"?
  11. with much anticipation...
  12. honestly I didn't see anyone furious but my eyes tend to deceive me sometimes. all good
  13. it's you and your buddy taking those who called for him to be banned and/or looked as though it offended them when frankly, I read through those posts and saw it as joking with the joker. that said, the joke is on you two.
  14. nothing but a blow hard, rex ryan...
  15. who really cares if he wasn't in demand? the bills picked him up for what they must of felt was a good reason and not solely based on the size of his contract. trying to belittle his opportunity because other teams did not pick him up, is irrelevant since he is now a buffalo bill with an opportunity ahead of him. rather than find every reason why he shouldn't be the starter, I instead will pull for him in hopes he succeeds?
  16. what's funny, is he doesn't know it all. sure, McCarron signed for back up money but I'm looking at it as he did so knowing he has a chance at the starter position and could do well enough to remain the starter while (1-2 seasons) grooming the rookie? then when rookie is ready to take the reins he may have gained some good trade value and have another chance to start elsewhere for better money? it's easier for some to look at the dark side rather then the bright side but the fact is he, like his predecessor, sat on the bench for 4 (5) years and then was given an opportunity with a new team to prove himself. my gut tells me he will fare much better than said predecessor? I'd take the opinion of a coach to heart more thren some message board know it all, any day of the week. Buffalo's getting a winner,' NFL coach says of AJ McCarron "I think Buffalo's getting a winner," The Buffalo Bills' acquisition of quarterback AJ McCarron in free agency has the stamp of approval from at least two NFL coaches. Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis called McCarron "a joy to coach" and "an uplifting player" while with the Bengals. "He's what you want, you know?" Lewis told the Buffalo News about McCarron at the NFL's annual meeting this week. "You want a guy who always feels he's better than he is. That's part of being a quarterback in the NFL. You've got to have that kind of self-confidence where, when you walk into that huddle or that meeting room, everyone feels good about you. ... "AJ's always been a really confident player in himself and his abilities. He's had a great deal of success, and he believes that he will always continue to have success. That's part of him." "I think Buffalo's getting a winner," Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson told the Buffalo News, "a guy that will come early, stay late, work extremely hard, loves football, loves winning more than losing, can't stand to lose. He knows how to elevate his teammates." Jackson served as Cincinnati's offensive coordinator during McCarron's first two NFL seasons.
