  1. this. why worry about someone else's money. those in charge will handle it. it was not like he knew he would end up with a career ending injury. pay the man.
  2. has any GM ever just came out and said our plan is to move up? or where they move up to? he will keep everyone guessing right up until the pick they trade up for on draft day.
  3. he wont reveal moving up to anyone. why would he? draft day will tell the story, until then we all live in speculationville.
  4. obviously most know he's had little starting experience. it must be nice to be able to judge based off so little.
  5. one has shown what he can do, which was not that good, especially last season. he would still be here if he were that good. the other has an opportunity and yet to be determined but I feel McCarron is going to be much better delivering the ball, a better passer.
  6. Miami Dolphins address contracts for big-name players to get under salary cap March 14, 2018 04:25 PM Updated March 14, 2018 09:05 PM The Miami Dolphins have spent the day creating cap space The Miami Dolphins have spent the day creating cap space so the team could be well under the $177.2 million salary cap at 4 p.m. Wednesday, when the new league year began around the NFL. The Dolphins have cleared over $17.8 million in cap space in the last 24 hours through contract restructures. It means the Dolphins most definitely plan to have Tannehill on the roster this year (we knew that) and the cost of cutting him in the next couple of years just got steeper. Cutting Tannehill in 2019 would save the Dolphins around $15.4 million instead of the $18.7 million originally scheduled while the dead money such a move would leave rises from $2.3 million to $5.6 million.
  7. now this is an example of a good first post/thread, thanks OP. take notes newbies.
  8. you obviously do based on quoting the poster to let them know, how you feel.
  9. I missed that other thread about him, some where here on the front page. think it was this one. he was never in the mix.
  10. you seem almost prophetic with your posts, like you know what shan't or what shall come to pass. interesting.
  11. you're entitled to your opinion, I don't but it at all, but it is yours to share. thanks for sharing.
  12. why? lack of starting experience? I believe he will serve well as the bridge and as a mentor to the rookie?
  13. didn't call it, but glad it came to be GO BILLS!!!

  15. you know the old cliche' opinions are like !@#$s, everybody's got one.
  16. may I suggest taking a break then. long yes, the most anticipated in decades making it a unique off season and dare I say, kind of exciting. but may not be the case seen through others eyes, hence the suggestion.
  17. they move to 2, or even number one. possible scenario
  18. McCarron hasn't received an offer from the pats. I personally would like the bills to consider making him the bridge? he's the best of those left, imo. Conflicting reports of Patriots' interest in AJ McCarron as Tom Brady's backup by John Breech 1h ago Conflicting reports According to WEEI radio in Boston, the Patriots have made a contract offer to McCarron, although it's not clear how big or small the offer might be. It's also not clear if McCarron is considering the offer and that's because if he signs in New England, he'd basically have a zero percent chance of becoming the starter due to the fact that Tom Brady plans on playing until he's 45. Also, according to the Boston Globe, McCarron never actually received an offer. Whatever happens, it's starting to look like McCarron doesn't have a ton of options, which is bad news when you consider that free agency hasn't even started yet. Although there's been a legal tampering period going on since Monday, free agent players can't start signing new contracts until 4 p.m. on Wednesday. If the Patriots didn't make an offer to McCarron, then it wouldn't be a surprise to see them draft a potential backup for Tom Brady in April.
