I'd go with protection over weapons. Great QBs make average weapons look better if they have the time. I always think of Deion Branch's 11 catches in the SB.

I was thinking something similar. For me I think it comes down to expectations. Nothing short of a SB appearance was gonna be satisfying to me this year. As the season wore on and it became more and more apparent that the injuries and warts (I'm looking at you OL) we're going to be hard to overcome and I could feel it slipping away. -

@Gugny @ExWNYer Late to the party but I'm fine with bringing in a vet backup. Guys get hurt and relying on the likes of Nick Plummer and Khalil Lee for a team with championship aspirations doesn't make sense. It also pushes Ruf or Vogelbach one step closer to the exit door. Plus now we have a guy to run the clubhouse fantasy football pool! Which is nice.
