  1. I'm not getting this. Did you wear your boyfriends jersey in high school? JK
  2. On top of spaghetti all covered with cheeseI lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed
  3. Completely agree with all of the above. I love the finality of sudden death. Allowing a game to get tied in overtime doesn't appeal to me at all.
  4. Hey baby won't you take a chance. Say that you'll let me have this dance. Well let's dance, let's dance. We'll do the twist, the stomp, The mashed potatoes too Any old dance that you want to do. Well let's dance, well let's dance.
  5. Yeah, we're gonna be so neat Dance to the Eurobeat Yeah, we're gonna be so cool Twisting by the pool
  6. Has anyone said 'play to the whistle'? Used to be good hard football, now it's an invitation for a 15 yarder.
  7. ...and they're bringing him in to interview for the manager vacancy.
  8. Let's bungle in the jungle Well, that's all right by me I'm a tiger when I want love But I'm a snake if we disagree
  9. Funny story. About 15-20 years ago I went to a baseball game and got routed to a parking lot that I had never been too. As I'm walking to the stadium I see a cop directing traffic and ask him how I can exit after the game. The guy just stares at me through dark sunglasses and I'm thinking to myself what a d!ck. Then he lifts up his shades and it's my best friend growing up. Probably hadn't seen him in 20+ years and haven't seen or spoken to him since.
  10. So would I. But at least one TBD poster claimed success with paper even though it had nothing to do with a dog.
  11. You might need to use the search function, but I read somewhere that it's possible for poop to be transported via a paper-based packaging option.
  12. It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini That she wore for the first time today.
  13. Clang clang, go the jail guitar doors
  14. People all over the worldJoin hands Start a love train, love train
  15. Wally Backman? If so, highly doubtful. He was in the news again recently and whether or not there's any merit to the lawsuit, I can't imagine the Mets would be interested in bringing him back in any capacity. "The ex-girlfriend of Wally Backman, the former New York Mets second baseman and current manager of the Long Island Ducks, has filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the former major leaguer and the Atlantic League baseball team, citing physical abuse, sexual harassment and alcohol abuse." https://www.newsday.com/long-island/crime/wally-backman-abuse-lawsuit-ducks-1.36791698
  16. I interpreted 'Who cares' as 'Who cares what anyone's stance is...' not 'Who cares what jersey someone wears'. Perhaps I misinterpreted, if so you're right, completely valid opinion.
  17. Why did you bother weighing in? There are countless threads I open and think the same as you, I ignore them.
  18. I would too if I had one. I'm curious, did you buy it before or after?
  19. It's not a good look. But the ridiculous cost of NFL merchandise makes it understandable. With that said there's a point in time where you just need to put a jersey in moth balls. 99 was done when we faced JAX in the playoffs.
  20. Some of you might not agree'Cause you probably likes a lot of miseryBut think a while and you will seeBroken hearts are for <expletive deleted>'s
  21. Thanks for the info. I'd have no problem bringing in Super Joe, but if I had my choice I'd go with Joe Maddon. Partly because I think he's a good manager but mostly because I think he'd keep things interesting.
  22. Has Super Joe been mentioned? Haven't heard his name in awhile, has he been coaching or managing anywhere? I'd be K with him if he's been working towards it..
  23. He still has that Yankee stench. I suppose I could get over it like I did with Granderson. On the other hand, Willie Randolph was always a Yankeee managing the Mets to me.
