Totally get your point of view wrt cloying annoying/twang. For me it was intentionally camp and a fun contribution to the early years of MTV.

Agree to disagree. Stupid awesome song and the dudes face coming out of the pot of baked beans is worth the price of admission.

Fun fact. Canadian three piece band (ala Rush) and the bass player would wear the home town hockey jersey of the arena they were playing in. JMO, they had a few great/iconic songs but a deeper dive into their albums was disappointing. Two more that I liked (and ya gotta love the two-necked guitar):

Totally got the LOU part, no clue on the rap song so thanks for that. LOU vs. Loo gave me and my son a chuckle last night. And agreed for the most part on the city connects. We actually like the Mets city connects, but many are god-awful. And while we're on topic for unis the Cardinals road blues are one of my faves.

Does this count?

@4merper4mer You're a Cardinals fan right? What's up with "The Lou" is that a thing - maybe a Brock connection? From the outside looking in gotta question the marketing guys.

What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
SinceThe70s replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
2017 Bills-Broncos. The third (and most recent) time I attended a Bills home game. Unless I'm mistaken it went on record as the hottest Bills home game ever. Fortunately we were on the shady side. Most memorable play was Von Miller's unsportsmanlike when he put out his hand to help Tyrod up after a third down stop in the 4th - and then pulled it back drawing a penalty. My profile pic is from that game. Good times. -
Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

As I recall he was a malcontent that even the Jets didn't think was worth the baggage. I'll file this under high hopes but low expectations. -

Maybe it wasn't "these clowns" but "all of the clowns" (including TBD and points beyond). Can't imagine Beane is a a tortoise in a shell, my guess is he was genuinely incredulous or taken aback by criticism of a draft he was very happy with. With that said, not a great look for a GM. -
Rabbits have been very active the past few weeks and I saw one building a nest the other day. Have also seen a hawk a few times. For anyone who remembers The Far Side: Trouble brewing!

Atlanta Falcons’ DC’s kid pranked Shedeur
SinceThe70s replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed, but the part that confounds me is that his son took the number. I'm torn reconciling feeling bad this happened to Ulbricht with the fact that he raised the kid. -
Bullspit. The team that scores the most points wins the championships.

Bills 6th Round Pick (#1) : Dorian Strong - CB - VA Tech
SinceThe70s replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had to look this up, but nobody cares that the Patriots drafted Adrian Klemm (G) in the second round of the 2000 draft when Brady was still on the board. -

LAMP: happy with this pick cuz my son goes to VT. Hope he pans out, it's fun to have an extra rooting interest in a player. EDIT: double dip, drafted Kaden Prather from UMD where my other son just graduated. Good times. -
Dr. Demento, awesome! Whenever I hear that name I'm reminded of:

Shedur Sanders Make To Round 5? (Poll) - UPDATED x 3

Not sure if this extends to the front office but don't underestimate the hate the Saints fan base has for his father who came up with the Falcons. -
Bills 2nd Rnd pick in 2025 Draft : TJ Sanders - DT South Carolina

I know nothing and appreciate both the positive and negative takes. Tougher to read the negatives but when you consider that the experts that actually get paid to make the choices are often wrong it's easier to take the negative and positive with the same grain of salt. -
My enduring memory of Ferguson was watching him come off the field after a failed play p!ssed off and angrily pulling off the chin strap on his helmet. Loved his competitive fire but in the end he was a pretty damn good QB playing in an era of great QBs.

Doomsday scenario is for unforeseeable circumstances the Bills make no picks whatsoever. Are we still a playoff team? Superbowl contender?

It was a scheduled event that I had no idea about. He was sitting at a table signing stuff, taking pictures and he was totally chill.

@Another Fan @ExWNYer @Gugny Had to run up to Home Depot this morning to pick up a toilet part and decided to throw on my Mets hat. Found the part and was going to check out when they announced over the intercom that Dwight Gooden was signing autographs in aisle 30. Good times!

I saw the post-game of the Twins game and Lindor blew himself up over the error. It was unnecessary, but appreciated. And your comment reminded me of a forgotten memory from last night that was a new one on me (but not to my son). Lindor's walk-up song has been My Girl for awhile. Fans have taken to singing it after the fade out when he's in the batter box. Very cool. My son said it started last year.
