  1. Me too, but they were never the same without Dio. Blackmore lived in my area for awhile and a good friend of mine from HS played a pickup soccer game with/against him.
  2. Ronnie James Dio, Graham Bonnet or Joe Lynn Turner?
  3. I'm with you on that. I wouldn't call myself a fan but they have two songs that I think are great.
  4. I used to be an A student, I never used to complain I used to be a truant but I'm still the same Bad, bad brain, bad, bad brain
  5. Damn - you just made a synapse fire that's been dormant for decades. My first would have technically been Danny Thomas and Joey Bishop - I forgot all about that.
  6. LOL. You're getting better - at least you tried to say something substantive this time. It's cute that you chose to deride me at the same time - did I claim that the Bills would beat the Pats twice? What have you read from me that leads you to conclude that I'm a blind Bills fan with no insight into the NFL? You're very good at making assertions without backing them up.
  7. Nothing to backup your assertion "New England is going to beat them twice". We should just take that statement for what it's worth? It's worthless to me.
  8. Agreed - a hidden gem.
  9. What was the first live concert you went to? Mine was Twisted Sister opening for Blue Oyster Cult. Both Long Island bands. At the time Twisted Sister was a bar band that had found some success in England and was making their 'triumphant' debut stateside in an arena. I knew nothing of them 'cept for radio commercials. They came off as Kiss-lite but had enough energy to be interesting. I was there for BOC and they didn't disappoint.
  10. This is a thing I've never known before It's called easy livin'
  11. Take it as worthless? Done. If I said the Bills would beat the New England twice without any backup should I expect anyone to care or take it seriously?
  12. I'm not here to claim this drummer is better than that drummer - IMO that often/should come down to personal taste. With that said: I saw Neil Peart in the early 80's and it was jaw dropping. For me he was the focus of the show and nobody ever came close. Until I saw Gavin Harrison some 30 years later with Porcupine Tree. It was equally jaw dropping. Never saw Moon, never saw Bonham,...but Peart and Harrison are far and away the best I ever saw.
  13. Actually you are on record saying you'd be happier with a Bills loss with a 300 yard passing game from Josh than a Bills win without the 300 yard passing game. So for me this Jets game (and your post) proved what I already knew - you just post negativity hoping for a reaction. I will admit that I look forward to seeing what negative spin you try to put on each win and each loss - I find it amusing.
  14. So both Rodgers and Wilson have the ability to run but neither has had "a long career or more importantly more than a few years of success." That's your stance? Um, OK.
  15. How do you reconcile that statement with Aaron Rodgers or Russel Wilson?
  16. geFilter fish
  17. Sammy's career didn't live up to expectations. Sucks for us most since we went all in. Clips like this don't make me feel any better or worse. Swing a miss for us, I've moved on.
  18. I learned of Parquet Courts from this thread thanks to @Pete. Quirky band with an edge, I'm a big fan. FYI - they also published under the name Parkay Quarts.
  19. Graham Cracker Nash
  20. Sloppy Joe Satriani
  21. OregaNo Doubt
  22. Spinal Tapioca Pudding
  23. Tone Loc-atelli The Offspring Roll
