When there's lightning, you know it always brings me down 'Cause it's free and I see that it's me Who's lost and never found

All you've forsaken And all that you've done So that I could live out This undying dream Won't be forgotten Or taken for granted I'll always remember Your endless sacrifice

File this under it wasn't creepy when I first heard it and was under 16. Actually it sounded pretty damn good. Now it's creepy as hell.

Daboll a consideration for Jags HC
SinceThe70s replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jags shouldn't hire Daboll, they should hire Dabo. -

Is now the time to remove OJ Simpson from the wall of fame and HOF?
SinceThe70s replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Someone noted that OJ became a completely free man today and took the time to see if there was a relevant thread to add the observation to instead of starting a new thread. If you're not interested why drop in? Ironically, you were one of the most recent contributors to the original thread before it died out and got bumped today. As an out-of-market fan whose allegiance to the Bills is tied heavily (but not exclusively) to OJ, the Wall of Fame conversation is a good one. I don't think they will ever invite OJ back to celebrate his Bills career in person (or absentia) so it makes no sense to me that he's on the wall. But I'm fine with waiting for a new stadium before taking him off the wall. -

I was thinking the same thing during the game. -

I think it was Parcells who said something to the effect "the most important ability is availability". I try not to question player injuries or their toughness, but if you're not on the field you're not helping the cause (edit: unless you're Cody Ford) . Flipside to that mentality is players coming back too early and either being ineffective or making an injury worse. Bottom line is Star hasn't been on the field much the past two seasons. Gotta hope he heals up and can come back strong for a playoff push/run because help for 2021 is not on the way.

Me too. But for me his crowning achievement was being the executive producer of Repo Man. Great movie, great soundtrack. RIP.

I was hoping OSU would sneak into the playoffs - I get bored seeing Alabama make it every year. Have a great time at the Fiesta Bowl - that's a great matchup.

Yeesh, I just went to my first college football game a few months ago and I'm more than a few decades past 6 years old. $1200/per is a lot of coin to drop on a football game. If I had a rooting interest it would be a good excuse to visit one of my favorite regions of the country

+1 @Augie But I will admit that comparisons of Sean to guys like Marty Schottenheimer aren't easily dismissed. Look at the 1st quarter last night.

When the season started I had the Bills as legit SB contenders. As it stands now I have them downgraded as playoff contenders. Not making the playoffs or making the playoffs and being one and done would be be a huge disappointment for me this year. I see the warts but I still see the potential for a post season run. I'm gonna ride it out because we've never won a game in the off season and watching the Bills win games makes me happy.

Yup, I get that we went from SB contenders (favourites would have been an overstatement IMO) to playoff contenders. But when we sucked folks would hit up the ESPN playoff machine and come up with unrealistic ways for us to sneak into the playoffs. Now that we're 7-5 there's too much sentiment for my taste that we'll miss the playoffs.

What amazes me this past week is I feel like a large majority of the board lived through and stuck with the Bills through the drought. And there was more optimism at the tail end of the drought than there is now that we're competitive. Anyone remember the video of the Bills fan coming off anesthesia and unconsciously ranting about how the Bills always let him down? Now is not the time to walk away from the Bills.
