  1. Goldfinger He's the man, the man with the Midas touch
  2. Are you booing me? Because I can't have that.
  3. It's refreshing that NE is no longer first on the list.
  4. I've been watching with bemusement. My baseball team had a booing controversy that got me pretty amped up a month or two ago. I got over it but I understand the emotion with this one - and the Covid aspect of the Beasley boos ratchets the emotion up a notch.
  5. 33 pages in suggests to me he's not the only one off their rocker with this thing
  6. Circles and rings, dragons and kings Weaving a charm and a spell Blessed by the night, holy and bright Called by the toll of the bell
  7. Yup, nothing wrong with being 3-1 at the quarter pole and extremely optimistic but our opponents are 3-6 in games not against us. I'd dial back your comment and say let's see how they do next week against the Chiefs. I'd love to see a signature win in the regular season and next week is the biggest one they can get this year (@Tampa Brady would be the next best)
  8. Colors, colors I am a nightmare walking, psychopath talking King of my jungle just a gangster stalking Living life like a firecracker quick is my fuse Then dead as a deathpack the colors I choose
  9. Some honorable mentions who haven't been mentioned: Sgt. Schultz Sgt. Dietrich Deputy Inspector Luger And just to show that I'm not biased towards a man with a title: Burt Campbell Jeannie
  10. I'm a Yankee hater but it's a great point that it's a long season. Too many alleged baseball fans fail to understand that . And I am speaking about friends that don't post/read here - although I've seen it here too. Rushes to judgement on a baseball season are laughable. The strange thing about baseball is how it quickly turns from a marathon to a sprint. That's in large part due to post-season TV schedules.
  11. The Good Rats? Can't remember the last time I heard that band name.
  12. In the silk sheet of time I will find peace of mind Love is a bed full of blues
  13. The man of the hour Has an air of great power The dudes have envied him for so long Oh, superfly You're gonna make your fortune by and by But if you lose, don't ask no questions why The only game you know is do or die
  14. To those of the mind 'maybe Laundrie didn't do it', have you seen this development (link below)? A guy went missing sometime around August 23 in the same area. They found his body around 40 miles from where they found Gabby. Police are saying they found the body due to tips from the Gabby case (plausible) and the two deaths are unrelated. I still firmly believe that Laundrie did it, not so convinced that the deaths are unrelated. https://nypost.com/2021/09/29/gabby-petito-search-uncovers-another-missing-persons-remains/ BTW, Throw in the two women murdered in Moab and I'm starting to question whether a vacation to the National Parks is safer than a vacation to Chicago.
  15. What's up with the whitespace in the letter "d"?
  16. A minute into the game both teams get caught cheating. The game is declared a forfeit and the Brady/Pat fans are sent home early and unhappy.
  17. I heard Josh fought on when Stefon was downed in Call of Duty recently. The honeymoon is over and all hope of a Super Bowl is lost.
  18. Has Darnold been ruined? Or did the Jets waste their opportunity with him? Seems like he's doing OK in Carolina.
  19. I have zero love for the Jets and as an organization I wish nothing but the worst for them. But Boy Band has been set up to fail. Jets didn't even bother to have a vet QB on the roster to act as a mentor. He's being fed to the NFL wolves. Regrettably his QB coach was tragically killed while riding a bike this past summer. And say what you want about the Jets OL but they've been without Becton who by all accounts looks like a beast. Comparing Boy Band's rookie year to Josh's doesn't seem fair to me.
  20. Could be. But I feel like there was a similar quote from Thurman in the Four Falls.
  21. Only when they have it coming to them. So yeah, pretty much every day.
  22. Wasn't Thurman quoted that when he got drafted he thought Buffalo was close to NYC? I live on Lawn Guyland and for years whenever someone asks me where I'm from I never say NY because the assumption is NYC.
  23. I thought 2020 Josh was light years better than 2019 Josh. Which contributed to why I wanted to see him do it in front of crowds this year.
  24. Put me in the camp that is happy that Josh played well in front of a crowd. I thought it was a legit concern. I wouldn't go so far as impressed - I hoped and expected it wouldn't be an issue but seeing is believing.
