I hated Pulp Fiction. and most other Tarentino Movies as well. I liked the Postman, waterworld films, and didnt get the love for dances with wolves?! It was alright, but Oscar worthy? Will Farrell is unwatchable. Steve Carell is ok. O Brother is awesome. Watch it every time its on. Agree 100% about the soundtrack. Oh, and i hated Titanic as well. Avatar was Dances with Wolves II...

EJ Manuel's first few hours as a Buffalo Bill
Zona replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
just watched the video. Gotta agree with everyone else. I love the secretary, she is a doll. I love the way EJ handles himself. He comes across as intelligent, likable, honest, and as a leader. Oh, and he is friggin huge! I love that. And I like the sports science video as well. Thanks whomever posted that... I hope he is the One. Maybe we should call him NEO. -
Bills Scouts Breakdown 2013 Draft Prospects
Zona replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i found it kind of interesting that Geno Smith was not included. Neither was Nassib. So I would say that the Bills like those two... -
First off, I always am amazed at how people run to help during, and help with money after a tragedy like this. The dude in the hat is a hero. as is every other first responder. kudos to them for being the type of person who helps others. second, i work at Costco, so i will chime in on them and this situation. costco may or may not help pay his bills. I would say probably. But he will ALWAYS have his job. They will go out of their way to help him. as will countless other Costco employees. Working there has ups and downs like any other company, don't get me wrong, but it definitely tends to feel like you become part of a huge family. There is a sense of togetherness that the corporation has encouraged and fostered over time. Sinegal has led the way with repeated acts of kindness, and by taking care of the employees. I have seen people donate there vacation to someone whom they have never met. I have see the Company pay life insurance benefits for someone who didnt qualify for benefits. I have seen the company pay for a College education for a family of a Deceased employee. So, i think Costco will do the right thing. But Costco's insurance, is not as good as it used to be, especially when you compare to what the old Price Club used to be. I am sure that Mr. Bauman will have huge medical bills, but i dont worry about him paying them. especially after learning of the collection in his name. and just for the record, i am not a manager, or paid spokesperson. I drive a forklift... Zona

I think what he is saying is that Barkley may have limited athletic ability, but he throws a good deep ball. Landry Jones may not be a vocal, fiery type leader, but he has won 50 college games. Now, the question is, and what Whaley is trying to hint at i think; Are one of those skillsets better than a OLB who can rush but cant cover? The Bills must decide what the team needs, then pick which skill sets best fits team needs since there is no Andrew Luck Available this year.

Gil Brandt of NFL.com evaluates College QBs by Numbers
Zona replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I disagree with you only a little. I believe that the most important ability for a QB is accuracy like you said. But ONLY if its accompanied by the experience of at least three seasons as the unquestioned starter. Guys have burst onto the scene after having a great season, get drafted high, then suck in the NFL. If they have 3 years starting at a Major school like the SEC, big 10, Pac,10, big 12, then it is far more likely that they can handle the pressure of being an NFL starting QB. Pressure is the one thing nobody talks about. But some guys blow out every year because they cant handle it. I would rather have a guy like Barkley or Smith, then anybody else. Win Percentage, accuracy, and starts are the best way to determine QB play, and they have been for a while. No one year wonders! say that again please, No one year wonders! This method is proven. time and time again. Look back at past drafts, and see all the One Year Wonders who have failed, versus the guy who started and played, and won, and was accurate. THOSE guys did well in the league. -
congrats to you and yours! good luck with the twins! they will keep you jumping for sure!

Albion. We lived in a trailer. We got snowed in, and missed almost 2 weeks of school. It was awesome. The storm was very impressive, and a little scary. -
An Open Thread to Communicate with Russ Brandon

Hire a young guy. The league is changing faster than ever. We need a progressive thinking coach who can adapt, and is not stuck in the 70's or 80's. Or the 90's for that matter. Where is football headed, and lets beat the rest there. -
Saints vs Cowboys-Ot screw-up by the refs?
Zona replied to Zona's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ok. I thought it applied to OT as well. since timing rules, replay and others are all the same as the last two minutes of regulation. And I vaguely remembered the refs moving the ball back in OT somewhere else in the same situation. Maybe my memory is turning to crap as I get older.... Thanks Ramius. -
When the receiver fumbles ball forward to the 2 yard line, recovered by Graham, shouldn't the Holy Roller rule apply? Any ball fumbled forward and recovered by the fumbling team in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter, or OVERTIME, the ball is supposed to go back to the spot of the fumble. I know most here won't care, since we laid another turd on the field. I just can't stand the fact that the refs don't seem to know the rules....if that is not the rule, then fine. my bad.

This is what bothered me as well, though i blame fitz. He could of checked out of the dive play when he saw a GOAL-LINE defense. I mean seriously, a nine guy front and he just turned and handed it off. Then on third and 9 when we have to have a stick, he heaves it deep with no shot, when what we really need is a first down. where is the relief receiver? we never have 1 man routes, so there had to be 1 or 2 other guys who may have had a shot a stick. Pretty crappy decision making from a Harvard graduate. Sometimes I think he has no football IQ....go deep early in the game to soften the defense, not late when we must have a first down. -
haw many days, or months, or years away are we from Terminator being a reality and not fiction? Scientists are pushing closer to AI by the day. Does anybody think that is a GOOD idea?

I liked Bing's, but i prefered the shows Andy put on. Maybe i was too young to "get" Bing at the time. Oh well, I wish we could see one of the classic old time shows on the Tube today...It would be nice.

I have a nice bottle of Fiddich right now... Always go with the whisky

Well, according to Mr. Trapasso, Drayton Florence was waived by the Broncos. We could bring him back to help out. Not ideal, but he knows the defense.

I am not certain that LA was truly "innocent" while he dominated the TDF, but I also dont think this USADA banning is legitimate. It smacks of Le'quip and a personal vendetta. LA hasn't raced in 2 years, or been a factor really since his last win. Yet people are still trying to go after him? I think LA made a reasoned decision to not fight the accusations anymore. I don't think he has unlimited resources....and he is just tired of defending himself against the SAME crap, year after year...I would be.
